Still expecting June Delivery?

For those of us that received this text several weeks ago, and completed all items, what do you think are the chances of us still getting delivery in June?

Tesla Update: Model Y production has resumed at the Fremont factory and deliveries have begun.

Model Y deliveries are prioritized for customers who have submitted all items in their Tesla Account on a first come, first served basis. Please log in to tesla.com/teslaaccount to complete Registration, Trade-in and Payment Method.

We currently expect a mid-to-late June delivery for those customers who have submitted all items by June 1st.

I got my VIN posted after accepting the finance offer; delivery is scheduled for next Friday.

That is a great question. I contacted my delivery specialist this past Friday to try and get an update, but she provided nothing. I still haven’t gotten a VIN. I think I’ll be pretty pissed because I don’t want to lose my good trade in value or financing.

Same here ,, I think too late now in June for us to have our MY before end of month.

I got that text as well. Ordered 05/05 and had all items on my Tesla account fully completed by 05/27.

New Mexico, Black/White/non-perf AWD/tow hitch.

Still no VIN, no follow up contact, and nothing to indicate I’ll have it by the end of June.

I ordered 11/2019 and got the 10 day message 13 days ago. Nothing since.

My confidence is not high.

Just to clarify:

• February 2nd - placed the order (White, LR, no FSD)
• May 10th - got the call from Tesla to confirm the delivery address. Guessing this was only to make sure that I am still interested.
• May 28th - changed the order (upgraded wheels and added the hitch)
• June 10th - got the DELAY/JUNE text. I called them immediately to clarify. They said I am back on their June list.
• June 12th - got the text about the car heading to Rockville and link to schedule delivery. Scheduled delivery for June 19th.
• Applied for the loan - couple time back and forth via email until they gave 2.24%
• Yesterday, agreed on terms and immediately VIN (14xxx) appeared under my account.
• Last 2 weeks - watched the videos and put together the list of things to check on delivery!!!!!

Definitely not too late to get delivery. If it’s like every other quarter for Tesla, people will be getting VINs up until the last few days of the month.

Although we got our M3 (VIN 138x) at the end of 2017 Q4, that time was very early in the production of the M3. I would opine those that got their MY at the end of 2020 Q1 (March) had a similar experience.

The MY we expect to get by the end of the month will be our first Tesla delivered in a quarter-end frenzy. It will be interesting.
