I've started having the same issue. Mine seemed to start whey M3 updated the software to 2020.24.6.9. I didn't have any problems prior to this update.

Does anyone know what build date started the updates? My model 3 has a June 4th build date.

It doesn’t look like vin number is a good indicator for the update. Some cars with 717 have updates while some with 719 do not.
