Actually, there was a Blue Performance PUP there. Looked GREAT. It had a sign inside on the dash that said “Call 678.... for a touchless test drive”..... So I assume it was a test drive vehicle

Yep. I assume this was a rejected delivery. It was sitting on the lot away from the delivery section. Also had multiple fit/finish issues.....

FWIW - when I bought our Model S as an inventory car almost 3 years ago, flew to Chicago for delivery then drove home to Philadelphia. Got a solid markdown for 1,100 miles on the odometer, fully debugged vehicle and the configuration I wanted. A lot of now-standard equipment was optional in the pre-3 days.
