It is, but that front module still uses the mini USB b connection right? I wonder if that cable will work or if you need to run a new cable. Of course it is a generic cable with no "auto grade" clips to hold it in place.

Ok that is very helpful, I was worried about the data cable and if it would be long enough. The module would not swap from console to console would it? You are brave to do this yourself!

How many of you all tinted the Sunroof? Any recommendations on doing this, I live in Florida so i am concerned for the heat rejection not really privacy? I have heard that the roof has different thermal properties and the tint could potentially cause it to crack? Would love your opinions...

So do you think I really need PPF, I have never had it on any other car and purchased and sold many cars, Mercedes, BMW, VW etc. Never had it, so really questioning spending that money. Thoughts?

I am sorry - the $2000 is for full front hood and both fenders and lights as well. Including side mirrors.

That is an awesome price. The other windows in the car are what is called privacy glass, so still really hot, so here we have to tint all for the windows to reject the heat. So there is where the $800 for tine comes in and then $2000 for the PPF, learning that is too much money to spend.
