Clicking noise from rear wheel well

I'm experiencing something similar. I'd be interested to hear any developments

Model 3 2023 interior Geiger counter noise

I believe I've found where the noise is coming from, after having a good look around the car armed with foam tape. It appears to be the rear boot light, nearside. A small amount of pressure would make the connector on the other side of the light make contact with the metal chassis. I've...

Model 3 2023 interior Geiger counter noise

Hi all, I've been having noise issues with my M3P since buying it new in September 23. Several service centre visits / mobile ranger visits have unfortunately not fixed my primary area of concern. So far, they have: Replaced front passenger side door trim and padded out both front doors...

    New collection tomorrow

I collected last Friday and had a mobile charger in the frunk. Make sure to go over the car thoroughly and report any defects at collection - use your phone's flashlight on the paint to help pick up any fine scratches. I had a bad experience on my first attempt at collection and ended up...

    Collection of ex demo

Thanks for the spot. I looked earlier and nothing was there. Makes sense! Hopefully can arrange rejection / collection on the same day. I've done enough train travel leading up to this purchase 😂

    Collection of ex demo

I've just placed a deposit on this one, if it was the blue one you spotted. Same cost as my demo but new. Higher residual on this one, curious? Makes sense to reject this car now. What a hassle!

    Collection of ex demo

I'm fairly confident this particular scrape is going to get fixed. Although I've yet to see it in writing, the supervisor said that the whole front wing / bonnet would be replaced. I can't fathom how a car can have so many imperfections in such a short space of time - especially that one around...

    Collection of ex demo

I have considered this, but I'm not sure how repairable the scratches on the glass are, or the damage to the interior of the boot. I did suspect they're slower at weekends. They weren't even aware they had the car, so it has had 0 quality control and was cleaned whilst I done the paperwork.

    Collection of ex demo

A bump to include some photos. Tesla still yet to be in touch and I've requested info on the returns process - I've seen a 14 day window mentioned. Do you think Tesa will be welcoming in restoring these defects? Has anybody been in any similar situations? Thanks Ash

Sentry Mode - Depressing how many people open doors into the car

If there's any way to find out her insurance provider, you could contact them with the footage. I'd avoid getting your insurance company involved if possible - although they would be able to do the legwork for you.

    Collection of ex demo

Hi all, Collected my M3P yesterday - love the car! An ex demo with 1k on the clock. I do feel a bit frustrated, as I feel like there was a lack of communication between the Tesla logistics and the store. The collection point didn't even know if my car was there. When they realised they did...

Sentry mode - Thank you! Merc hit the car & drove off

C Can confirm I've had similar experiences. A few years ago my Mini was reversed into by an oblivious driver more concerned with sorting their hair rather than checking the rear view prior to reversing. They stopped, admitted fault, gave details (potentially false). Had the whole thing on a...

    Public charging

Thanks for the info. Is there any particular reason you suggest charging on the AC at work prior to my long commute, as opposed to stopping at a supercharger on route? A few years back when I was originally reading into owning a Tesla, it was discussed that relying primarily on fast charging...

    Public charging

I have, unfortunately the only ones nearby are rapid chargers and more expensive than my current options. There is a Geniepoint at my local Morrisons for 75p / kWh 🤮 May be worth taking a look at supermarkets a little bit off my usual commute.
  17. A

    Public charging

Oh, I didn't know this - thanks! I was budgeting for up to 75p per kWh due to the cost of nearby chargers in my area. This is good news!

    Public charging

Thanks, I have noted the reliability (or lack of) when browsing through Zap Maps.

    Public charging

Hi all, Taking delivery soon - to no surprise I have discovered public charging prices are significantly higher than when I initially looked at purchasing a Tesla a few years ago! I'm looking for advice / suggestions on public charging incentive schemes, due to not having frequent daily access...

Delivery and registration fee? ex demo

Hi all, I managed to place an order on a M3P EAP ex demo with 900 miles for more than a few thousand off the OTRP. Having had my eye on a Tesla for some time now, this deal seems great combined with the 0% offer at the moment. I did enquire about having it delivered to my address, but was told...

    Model 3 Leasing UK

This may be the case if the dealer initially placed the deposit on the Tesla website. If somebody placed the deposit and registered the account themselves, I don't see why any access would be revoked from the app. I believe all the issues mentioned previously arisen from leasing companies not...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

When did you order? I ordered a couple of weeks ago when the Tesla website said Nov delivery (now says Dec), but last week I was told chances are the car will be available early Dec.

I'm pretty sure that you still have access to the app to purchase upgrades.

I'm in the military, unfortunately I don't see them being this flexible as they don't even seem to support cycle to work schemes.

Thank for the information. Unfortunately that is not something that my employer offers!

What do you miss about your previous car?

Coming from a Mini, the M3 is certainly an improvement on the rear legroom department! However, I did manage to squeeze 3 fully grown adults in the back of a Mini after a roadside emergency. It worked, but it sure didn't look comfortable for them!

    Lease/PCP/Purchase UK

Good morning, I'm awaiting delivery of my M3 LR - expected mid Nov- early Dec. I was originally set on a lease, due to low monthly payments making it much more affordable. Including my trade in (7k), lower running cost savings for my twice monthly 600 mile journeys and a travel contribution...

What do you miss about your previous car?

I've read that there may be changes to the headlights on the M3 2021 refresh? Perhaps there may be some aftermarket bulbs/leds you could fit?

What do you miss about your previous car?

Could you please explain the cruise control a little more to me? I didn't use too much of it on the test drives, but from what I did use of it, it seemed pretty good at reacting to the car in front. A world ahead of my Mini's adaptive cruise control, which always seemed to over accelerate/brake...

What do you miss about your previous car?

I hear you. I don't 'need' a Tesla. I just want one :). Life is for living though, ey?

What do you miss about your previous car?

To add to the things I will miss, probably more so than the exhaust- no HUD! It seems weird having to look to my left to see the speed I'm driving at, after having sat nav / current speed / speed limit on a HUD for the past 6 years.

What do you miss about your previous car?

Interesting to read. That is a lot of cars! I'm 28, this will be my third car. My first was a Corsa 1.2 - was more than happy with it for my first car, but it was a pain on long journeys due to a lack of acceleration. The Mini is my second, I lived close to the poverty line to pay for it...

What do you miss about your previous car?

Regarding the Satnav, I'm hoping that Tesla has/will eventually have Waze integration. Having a heads up of hazards / police / other useful information is great. Maybe I'll mute Tesla's nav audi and play Waze audio through the car's speakers via Bluetooth. I did notice on my test drives, that...

What do you miss about your previous car?

Hi, I've got a deposit down on a Tesla Model 3 LR. I've test driven a showroom model on a couple of occasions - and I love it! There is a small bit of doubt in my mind though, from each time that I drove my own car back home (a Mini Cooper S JCW). I don't know if it's just a bit of sadness...

    GAP Insurance + lease?

Hi! I've recently placed a deposit or a 2020 Model 3 LR. I will be leasing this with a low initial payment, as it doesn't make any sense to cough up more money up front for minute savings over 4 years. In the past, I've purchased gap insurance when buying a vehicle through PCP. Is this...
