I've owned both, but did sell the Y. I think you should hold off. The X is superior in almost every way except with energy consumption due to weight. Although for me, the weight is another advantage of the X, haha.

I have a friend that's looking for a used Model X.. but only with unlimited supercharging. I don't value that much at all, tbh.

I'm a happy camper... Sold the MYP in June 2022 for more than I paid after 1 year and 20k miles. Bought an MX at the same time, ordered in Jan of 2021 so the current price is still considerably higher than what I had paid for it. I'm actually considering buying another MXP to replace my Raptor...

We have 2 adults, 3 kids and went from a Model Y to an X refresh. It definitely bigger and more luxurious. Rides better but you can sense the size difference immediately. Kind of what you'd expect though given the extra space. Worth it for us... probably a bit safer due to increased weight as well.

Ordered Jan 28 2021. No FSD. 7 seat MX LR. Delivered yesterday to our home. Really, really impressed overall with the fit and finish, considering its a Tesla. I'm sure I'll find something as the ownership extends out, but so far, really quite nice. Its a big step up over the model Y performance...

haha, yes, affirmative. They did offer to switch to a 6 seater to get it earlier but I declined. My family needed a 7 seat vehicle.

Ok, looks like it’s happening. Crazy, it’s been a looong wait.

It was about a 3 week range from mid May to early June for the past week, kept moving a couple days every couple of days. Before that July 22 like everyone else. It's been a long journey.

Updated with VIN. Spoke with SA and it’s still in Fremont. Should be here in the next 2-3 days!

Mine moves every couple of days back… no vin so really just a big tease. I expect it to move again sometime before tomorrow. San Diego area.

My edd is now May 21-June7... still no vin.

Yep, well, I've seen this with the Model Y as well.. could easily switch back to July or farther out. Not going to get my hopes up until the Vin.. and even then haha.

PPF on a Tesla Model Y??? Model Y's are ubiquitous as is. It's no GT3.. or 458 speciale. It's a family car, meant to be used and driven. The next guy won't give you 2k more for it just because it has PPF, I guarantee that.

He's in the market for a plaid.. and then went to a GLS63 AMG.. trust me, there's not much else there.

Ordered Jan 2021. MX LR 7 seater. Shows March 2022 now. I agree with others and am hoping to get it by Christmas... No, I'm not joking.

Why would you do that? 0-60 on a GLS63 is at best 3.6 sec...

We bought our Tesla. I'm fine without PPF. I've done PPF and with Ceramic coat, many times, so I've just seen enough of it. We won't be respraying the bumper anytime, let alone yearly for that matter. Miles matter because the value of the car will depreciate quite a bit in the next few years due...

PPF needs to be replaced every few years.. it is not "forever" protection. It starts to yellow and looks bad regardless within 5 years. It's not absolute protection either. Rock chips get through PPF... ask me how I know, lol. Well, PPF on a 991.2 GT3 Touring? Ok, I can see spending 5k on a...

Ordered MYP on 5/7. Vin received 6/23. Home delivery 6/24. Car was just about perfect. Slight smudge on drivers side B pillar headliner from adhesive, maybe. Front hood near emblem was not completely flush... But, otherwise, looks great. I should add, I'm not going to put PPF or ceramic coat...
