3D-printed rear seat shoulder belt guides

I feel like I highjacked your post lol, but thank you so much! I appreciate the post. Looking forward to your road trip report! I advertise them as for "belt storage only". If you have belts in the guides when a passenger is using it, is up to you. Plenty of space to access to the latch...

Charging pad & iPhone 13 mini; measurements on charging coil/MagSafe alignment? 3D print spacer for tray

This is awesome! I planned to do this for the gen 1 consoles; unless you tell me you’re selling printed ones for the gen 1 it would save me a bunch of time! Keep it up!

3D-printed rear seat shoulder belt guides

Hey, I’m the original designer of guides and I am glad some members are pleased with them! Hey @ItsMeDario, I took down the listing after some customer feedback on how to improve the guides. I made small improvements and took some time to test the new design. I just re-listed Version 2 on my...

    Add Grab Handles?

My own concern with that is compromising the side curtain airbags somehow. Also, I may be thinking of another car, but I believe to remove the front pillar requires the entire headliner to be removed; I may be wrong though. For a rear passenger grab handle, the only relatively "clean" install I...

Any recommendations for a pet liner that protects the Model Y doors? Read the Tesla one isn't that great at it.

I know there is ppf for the rear trunk hatch and the lower lock area of doors. I hope to see someone design ppf to cover the trim areas.

Vendor To Discover new functionality of the rear seats in your Tesla, and to unveil secrets of Wild Charger products.

Please keep in mind that a mattress (Tesmat, trifold) pushes up OVER the rear sent AC vents and covers the entire unit. It's been a point of contention for me when I'm camping... I love the innovation!

Any idea on fixes? Interior door trim puncture

Heat gun. Start with lowest settings and turn up heat slightly until you see the holes soften up and holes go “back to normal”. Try on a small spot first.

    Tow Hitch Cover

I know this isn't a marketplace thread, but I'm wondering if anyone willing to donate/sell/lend their old hitch cover? I'm looking to prototype a way to remove the dust cover more easily. I'm in the SoCal area and willing to meet.

Pictures of all of your MY accessories while waiting for delivery

Sweet list! Consider adding a glass cleaner with telescoping pole (w/ "proper" glass towels because I felt like the microfibers I was using just smeared more crap on the glass). Also a tire repair kit (since no spare tire), and 12v portable air compressor. Anyone have suggestions on air...

Is there space under the floor? Weird rattle, can't figure it out...

Before going the route with dissembling the interior. Have you considered getting a endoscope to confirm which vent duct it’s in. It’s fairly “cheap” and I’d hate for you to remove the driver side when in actually it’s in the passenger side or vice versa.

That's frustrating. Hoping you get them soon!

Does the Model Y need this grill?

Oh no, I hope you are referring to the one that you ordered from Amazon and not one from me. If the latter, please reach out to me directly on Etsy!

Does the Model Y need this grill?

Damnit! Missed opportunity to claim that as a feature! LOL I'm glad most aren't needing to use the tape as they were designed to be secured via friction fit; slightly flex to install. Tape is optional.

Does the Model Y need this grill?

Sure, I can try. When you say "straight back", do you mean directing airflow along the floor of the car or trying to direct it towards the back passenger seat area?

    Camping Locked Out

I just got back from a week long camping trip at some National Parks and this was my EXACT fear. I always kept the physical key card (I also wear the Tesla ring) on top of the armrest when going to bed in the event that we 1. Opened the door in a daze, triggering the alarm; it allowed us to...

Does the Model Y need this grill?

Awesome, whatever helps to cover the open vents. Also, I added the tape as an alternative; it is actually designed to squeeze into place via friction fit. Hope it works well!

Does the Model Y need this grill?

I just got back from a week long camping trip where we utilized all the backseat passenger floor space where things could roll, slide or free dive itself into the vents LOL. As you can imagine, when you're car camping things aren't always in their place. Whenever I would hear something fall onto...

Does the Model Y need this grill?

It would be best if you took some time to look at how the Model Y ducts are constructed and installed then you would realize it is a problem. The MY's vent's are installed at the floor level, unlike other cars that are raised 2-3 inches above the floor. As CapsEngineer stated, the vents drop...

Does the Model Y need this grill?

I was concerned about this too when I first designed them. But after taking measurements from the many failed Amazon ones, I discovered they were all about 2mm as opposed to 3mm on these. Thanks for the insight!

Does the Model Y need this grill?

I'm glad it has worked well for everyone! If there any issues or ideas for improvement, I'm listening, considering that the newer Model Y's are a bit updated and I was concerned it wouldn't fit.

    Rear under seat vents

Hey ladies/gents, I'm the Etsy seller and hopefully not breaking any forum rules, but just wanted to thank you all and I'm glad it worked well. Didn't expect someone to post my item but It looks like we all share the fear of things being forever lost in the vents!
