I don't believe its a firmware issue. The boot is too heavy for the 1 powered strut especially in the UK when you can have added weight from ice, snow, rain water, the wind, or even parking on hilly ground. I've parked on slight inclines where the strut struggles to hold the boot up.

I stopped at Scotch Corner Friday lunch time and noticed my outside temp rose to around 18 degrees after setting off back down the A1 before it fell back down to 7degrees

Sounds like they just regurgitate the same blurb for each event. Says the same against each 3/Y. You’d think it would be good for them to open the Crimple Hall before this event. Otherwise it’s a pretty long drive to the next nearest at Scotch Corner or middle of Leeds.

At the end of the day if the location is constantly busy with all chargers full except 1 that's never used they must know something was wrong with it. Or even in quieter locations if there is 1 or 2 that are never used then presumably rangers / technicians that call in every so often can check...

I wonder if there is a possible business opportunity here? Or an extension of the current meet & greet parking? Drop your car off with them, they park it, wait until the superchargers are quieter (or use 22kw chargers) to fill it up, when you come back your battery is full and away you go?

Perhaps going forward existing v2 sites located on main transport routes could be upgraded to v3 (or v4) sites and the hardware transferred to locations where speed isn't as necessary.

Anyone else notice the rear camera picture quality getting worse due to this problem?

I’ve noticed a significant drop in the picture quality of the rear camera now (see attachment). This is after wiping it clean. The image also cuts off (goes black) for a couple of seconds when opening the boot.

There is a dashcam viewer app on the screen. Videos from all dashcams (front, rear, driver and passenger side) are recorded to a USB memory stick located in the glove compartment. The glove compartment can be locked requiring a pin to open.

My stuttering seems to have got even worse today. I can be reverting then all of a sudden the image will jump and I’ll have moved 3/4 meters closer to the object and because it’s not a smooth image its hard to tell how fast your actually reversing towards an object!

One thing no one has pointed out is a M3 LR weighs just under 2 ton and that’s with no passengers or cargo. I presume everyone above is comparing against a lighter ICE car. Trying to get 2+ ton up or go down an icy or snowy slope is never going to be easy!

Assuming you have AWD then still comparing a 4 door executive saloon to a presumed 4x4 SUV Jeep then the Jeep will always come out top in snow conditions.

With regards to the blind spot camera..... how many people still look behind them when reversing? Or do you solely rely on the cameras?

When I dropped my M3 off they could lock/unlock it. They said they could only do it while it was at a service centre.

If this is anywhere near the wall in which your hoping to install your podpoint take the necessary pictures. If is your fuse board any better positioned? Are you in an old house? If so are your water pipes bonded (earthed)? If not this may cause a problem.

Is your electric meter outside in a white cupboard thing like the one shown open in the picture? You just need to show a picture ideally with that and where you want your podpoint installing in the same picture or via multiple if not possible.

You could try a battery reset. Essentially your disconnecting the batteries. Its not recommended and didn't work for my issue.
