Congrats!! About time for all of us OG April folks. Feels like the ride has taken forever.

It'll happen. I waited 3 years for my M3 (I was one of the first reservation holders). But once my number came up, it all happened very quickly.

For folks that got the VIN assigned, how long after VIN assignment did the payment screen appear, and how long before you could schedule delivery?

BLUE BUTTON! Just accepted, and got VIN 217xxx! No delivery appt yet but I hope it's soon! Good luck everyone, the end is near!

Let me guess, tow hitch?

Looks like the latest VIN batch release was mostly those with tow package. Saw 2 orders within 1 day of mine with VIN today + tow. Everything else is same as mine (colors were red and MSM)

Maybe it’s the tow package? I have the exact same config but one day earlier and no tow and still don’t see it. Also so odd to see the 7/3-7/6 date. This wait is excruciating.

Bay Area peeps sitting here like the kid that gets picked last in gym class. Hopefully on every pick, but deep down resigned to the fact that no one really wants us and we’ll be picked when there’s nothing else left to do.

I have literally the same configuration except no FSD and Tesla Financing, profile complete 10 days earlier. No doubt they’re prioritizing FSD orders to capture more revenue, but sucks for us April folks. This VIN better show up fast 😅

Given that cars are sitting on lots getting firmware updates, I’m hoping they’re loading up the delivery locations and then doing a big pickup /delivery push.

Bay Area peeps, was just driving north on 280 and saw a trailer full of Ys and 3s just 2 miles from Colma. 5 Ys at least. 2 red, 2 white, 1 MSM. I ordered a red so hopefully one is mine!

Back from Aug to the same June window as everyone else. Called my SA yesterday and per his “system” I was still on track for June delivery. Didn’t get any more specifics. The wait continues.

It’s in my signature, but I’ve been on the insurance page since 4/19. I even have an email on 4/19 from from SA saying “your profile is complete”. Completely ridiculous.

My EDD says Aug 05-25 now. Order and profile complete on 4/19. This better be a bug or I’m really going to lose it.

I didn’t. 4/19 order/profile complete, Bay Area. EDD showed September yesterday and back to 6/19-6/30 today. 6/19 is tomorrow, soooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think we need a Bay Area orders support group. Orders placed a month after me from SoCal are already fulfilled (happy for you guys, but come ON Elon).

I think the “logic” in the EDD system is if your true EDD is <= TODAY, show New Order EDD. This happened before when I saw 9-13 weeks and that was what was on new MY orders.

LR RWD, No FSD. Interesting that AWD and FSD is only $4k higher.

I was curious so I just checked. Tesla’s trade in value for my 2018 Model 3 is 32k. Carvana offered 38k. The market is crazy right now.

After a day of 9-13 weeks I’m now down to a tighter window of 6/10-6/25. Sigh. The wait is so addictive and so excruciating.

Bay Area folks: Did anyone in San Francisco actually pick up in SF, or are all SF deliveries going to Colma? Also, anyone in SF got a home delivery option?

I didn't mean production is/would be impacted, because I believe the production lines are separate. I meant they're planning a big media event at the factory for a new iteration of a marquee car - they probably need resources and space for the event itself. Anyway, this is me trying to create...

My new working hypothesis is that energy at the Fremont factory is all hands on deck for the Plaid launch. Production is probably continuing but they won’t start big movement on local deliveries until after the Plaid launch (10th)

I got that email last week. Delivery date kept slipping daily anyway. 🤷🏾

I'm happy for you but also WTF, I ordered 3 weeks before you, also bay area, and I'm still showing 6/10-6/30. Almost everything the same except 5 seat and Red. I hope my window narrows quickly.

Ordered 4/19. Red/Blk/19“/No tow/No FSD. Current dates are 6/9-6/29. I think your “order finalized“ date also plays a big role in determining priority.

What magical SA do you have that provides you more info

I hope they’re able to figure out delivery logistics now. I am happy to go to Fremont and make it easier for them :D Still no VIN for me!

At this point I’m inclined to think the dates on the website are meaningless and only serve to have entertainment value for us. I suspect what’ll happen is that this magical hardware/firmware update will go out and suddenly a wave of people will get “your order is ready for pickup” messages...

Aaaand I’m joining the confused club. Dates just went from 5/26-6/15 to “5-9 weeks from delivery” for me.

I find it hard to believe that there would be so few folks from this thread with deliveries. There's definitely a bottle-neck somewhere - maybe with software, maybe with chip shortages, or maybe with general supply chain/demand challenges. But something is not right.

Your SA is probably better than most! Mine responded exactly once in the last 3 weeks.
