Took delivery of my MY on June 5. Still have not received any paperwork in the mail from them, and my temp plates expire in a week. Is this normal? I messaged my SA and he said 3-3.5 weeks to receive paperwork, which gives pretty much no room to receive plates without the temps expiring.

It most likely will be disabled...for now. For cars that have radar hardware installed it can be just as easily turned back on when they figure out how to get it to play nice with the cameras. For cars that don't have the radar hardware, that's not an option.

Of course he does not care about how this will devalue the car in secondary markets when compared to those that have both the radar and passenger lumbar support. Its one thing to take things away and add them in software, but its a whole different beast to do that with hardware.

Ugh, all ready to pick-up tomorrow morning and I get the dreaded call that they need time to fix a rear hatch alignment issue, so its pushed back to next Saturday for pick-up. I guess that's better than rushing a fix and not having it be right.
