Anyone with ev01+ 18” wheels for M3 performance could share their actual added range miles, please?

Does anyone have insights into the best "happy medium" tire between performance, comfort and lower rolling resistance? Would something like the Continental PureContact LS perform better than the MXM4s? I went from the OEM PS4S to 19" wheels and DWS06 Plus on my M3P and noticed a minor decrease...

    WTB: 18" or 19" wheels for 2020 M3P

I'm looking to buy a set of wheels for my 2020 M3P. Prefer black or grey, flow forged or fully forged, or 19" sport wheels that fit on M3P. No wider than 9". With or without tires and TPMS is fine, just let me know what you have. Located in NorCal or SoCal. Thanks.

2020 M3P 20" Performance wheels (Satin black) with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s

I went with Titan 7 T-S5s 19x9.5, they are fully forged wheels. In depends on what your looking for (better range, better performance, more comfort, aesthetics), but going down to a 18in or 19in wheel is generally what most people do. A thinner, smaller wheel will typically get you better range...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I am unsure where they were made, any idea on how to check? But yea, so far I like them. Road noise seems the same or slightly better and definitely a bit more comfortable than the 235/35/20 on rougher roads. The tire noise never bothered me as much as the wind noise I get from my driver side, I...

Thanks! Yes from the research I have done so far, I think the MPP Comfort adjustable or non-adjustable is what I want to go with.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

It was a tad more than I expected, but I can live with it. The look isn't bad, I guess I would just like a bit more protection for the wheel face. Might get wider tires in the future but for now I am happy. Here are some photos

Thanks @MODEL+ for hooking me up with a new set of shoes! Titan 7 T-S5 19x9.5 in Machine Black. Tires are Continental DWS06 Plus 245/40/19 Next mod is coilovers!

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

That's interesting. Yea it's too early to tell for me right now, I just did a 20 mile drive at various speeds and was pretty aggressive on driving seeing what the tires can do. I got a lower wh/mi than I would have with my old set up driving more conservatively, but I can see the higher speed...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I went with DWS06 plus in 245/40/19. So it's a bit of a stretch, just got them mounted will post some pics later. But actually these tires have a thinner tread width than my previous PS4s (8.8" vs 8.3") and they are all season vs summer so I'm expecting same range or even a slight improvement...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Are there any settings I need to change (like wheel configuration or anything else) if I am moving from OEM 20x8.5 to 19x9.5 wheels? Overall diameter of wheel/tire is slightly increasing from 26.5 to 26.7.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I have my wheels already, sitting in my garage currently. I got Titan 7 T-S5 19x9.5 +34. Originally wanted the 19x9 +35, but backordered 2-3 months and I have no patience haha.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

That makes sense, thanks for all your insight very helpful! I think I've made up my mind and will go for the DWS06 plus in 245/40/19, seems like a good happy medium for me. I will post an update once I get my wheels wrapped and on my car.
  29. SirLaz

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

That would be sweet, although I wonder how the aerodynamics of the wheel will affect range going from 8.5" to 9.5", there might be some poke which might affect range but that is unavoidable. I am thinking of taking the middle ground and getting the DWS06 plus so a high performance all season. I...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

That is great, and your setup looks really clean, much better than stock IMO! I wouldn't mind a ~5% range hit, but that is prob my max. I'm at 300 wh/mi right now with stock 20s and PS4s. If I can keep my range I would be happy, if I get better range I would be very pleased. I will be dropping...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Gotcha, that makes a lot of sense. What is your wh/mi with that wheel/tire setup? I am in a similar boat where this is a daily driver for me, so comfort and noise are important but i still value performance its probably comfort > performance > noise.

How do you like the PureContact LS? Good in terms of road noise and ride comfort?
