Delivery day today. Not sure if it will happen as NE was hit by the storm yesterday and NJ had TORNADOES. Many were not so fortunate due to this storm, I will not feel bad if deliver gets delayed. 😔

I believe you can wait for the down payment. I did the ACH transfer about a week before my delivery date of 09/02.

I have never received a call from anyone from Tesla. All the communication was via email and text message (from area code 508).

My pickup is from same location on Thursday, but already got a Text that it may be delayed till Friday :( and I will not know till Wednesday or Thursday morning.

Some of us May/June orders have been though Octoberfest, generally it will change to a date on Monday. EDD in S and S are notoriously unreliable.

SA won’t help much unfortunately, you are just going to have to wait until VIN is assigned. Generally I have noticed that when EDD starts to shrink, EDD is imminent, but again we are talking about TESLA.

Was your experience quick when picking up? When did you get a call to confirm the appointment? I have heard nothing from Princeton, basically I did everything by calling Tesla directly. From those 100 cars, one is mine hopefully, picking up on Thursday same location.

You can contact your SA or call 1 888 number, most likely they will tell you same EDD that is already in your account. I contacted both and they never told me what I already knew. Based on your order date and location you might get it by EoQ push. Good luck.

Congratulations, you can call the 1 888 number to switch to financing, they were super helpful. My local Tesla store or SA never reached out, so I took matter on my own hand did everything.

I never got PPF in any of my previous cars, however I am considering PPF only for bumper and headlights which is where I had lot of issues in my past cars. I did not shop around, but local shop quoted me ~$800 for the Xpel. Seems reasonable to me and being the shop is local it’s also convenient.

My delivery date is this coming Thursday, and I feel the same 😂

Same happened to me, I think it’s because we are going to Tesla based financing. We only need MVPA if we are financing though 3rd party I believe. However, I checked under the other Documents and looks like MVPA was available under the Delivery Configuration. Not sure if that is the correct...

Is screen protector even needed, it’s not like cell phone which you carry around. Am I missing something??

Completely agree, do not do it yourself if you are not sure what you doing. I can do basic wiring, but do not feel comfortable running 220, 50-60 AMP wires from panel. IMHO ~$1000 is worth spending to get some one experienced to do the work.
