@JoJa15 I think ratio of vin assigned / orders would be a great ratio. If California has the most outstanding vins but also just the most orders it might provide interesting aspects

People who have gotten VIN. Did it show up randomly during the day? Or is it more like the EDD that seems to, if it updates, is only 1x a day overnight.

This sounds great. How did you see it was not even built yet? I’ve only ever seen demos with 500-1000 miles.

Let’s say you get fed up with waiting and want to buy a demo you quickly find. Obviously getting ahold of your SA might be a challenge. Do you just quickly order the car and swallow the $100 order fee and they transfer it to your existing order? Anyone know?

Exact same thing for me. I wake up to a new time. And I’ve checked at ~1-2am PST and it’s still the same as that day. So must be ~3/4/5am or something.

I’ll take that over being punted from June dates into the 8-12 week hell!

Update: my SA gave me a call and told me I should still be good for the original estimates that were there when we placed the original order. Also could get assigned a vehicle this week potentially. So not as concerned about being reset in the line! Phew

My SA was very adamant about the complete profile being the most important thing, which is why it was set to cash etc, and thus I know it was “complete” since day 1. Confirmed with my SA directly too. But yes, the entire process needs adjustment!

Hopefully I can get ahold of my SA when they’re back in the office and they’ll have a different idea of it haha

I don’t really see how a SA would know getting the email means VINs were assigned, since it seems they literally know no more info then the EDD before you get a VIN, but I am very hopeful of course
