If you don't get the full $7500k for your next tax return does the credit roll over until you use it? Seeing different answers I also heard that in 2024 the $7500 will be point of sale rebate. But knowing Tesla that means the cars will cost $7500 more by then. Or not even qualify.

You can just use the same bank if you don't have interest rates that low at your bank. I am not sure if you can just take over my term and rate if your credit allows. Which is more than 36 months at the 2% rate. The bank is closed I would need to find out on Monday.

They came back with a new design. Says they only offer 400W panels. Can only go with 73% offset at 6kW 1 Powerwall. It is placed on three different locations on the roof.

Okay so I was correct the first time it deducts what you owe from the federal tax. So it is not something they write you a check for or add as a deduction to lower your tax amount.

Thanks for the info. Also forgot to mention since I live in NJ there is no tax that was a surprise to me. When I bought my Tesla's we didn't get taxed either but I did not know it would also be for solar panels.

I just got back the system design. My amount decreased. It shows 66% energy offset. According to Tesla I should go with 5.2 kw So that means I will be paying 66% less on electric bill? I will contact them but since I am here I might as well ask. Right now I have $1000 credit on my electric bill...

Need to be clear about the credit. This 30% is not money you will receive back from the IRS it is just credit that will just keep deducting from whatever you owe throughout the years? That is what I was told but chatting with Tesla rep said you get back the money.
