FYI for anyone in BC here, there is an insurance agent on site who will get the car registered and plated - you will at minimum buy ICBC basic coverage ($200k 3rd party liab) through them. You could also get the optional insurance (extended 3rd party, collisions, comprehensive, etc.) from them...

Picking up my car in vancouver next week, want to get quotes for extended 3rd, collision, comprehensive. Any insurance companies recommended?

Final update: ordered Jul 10 SR+, black/white , aero. Received tesla vision yesterday and they contacted me today to schedule pick up. Car will be available tomorrow, but I'm busy so I pushed it back to Thurs since the delivery centre isn't open Mon-Wed. Works out for me anyways since I'm busy...

Had to resubmit my credit application, approved for 72 months, 2.35% with scotiabank, Back in July they gave me 2.4% with RBC

Remove the $2,000 sport wheels, it's selected by default, nets $46,389, minus 1280,100,10 = 44,999

It's still the same price. SR is still showing $46,389, which includes the usual other fees (1280 delivery, 100 A/C, 10 OMVIC), still nets to $44,999

Had EDD stuck for more than 3 weeks for end of Sept, now it's showing Oct 1-21 (ordered mid-July). Not sure if it was just updated today, which is the first day of the month, and their system automatically pushed it out for next month estimate. I don't trust the dates anyways so 🤷‍♂️

It seems according to Drive Tesla, Canadians have reported they received the email. And is anyone else's EDD stuck? Mine hasn't changed for more than 2 weeks, stuck with the same dates at the end of Sept

With my driving needs mainly in the cities, the better acceleration - it's good enough already like you said - and range wasn't that much value. Even if I go for a road trip, it seems there are adequate chargers with SR+ unless I'm going somewhere remote. If you order LR I'm guessing it won't be...

Just FYI, the 3D Maxpider all-weather floor mats for model 3 front and rear seats are back in stock on costco.ca for $159.99 - was out of stock for a few weeks until last week.

No choice, you just fill in the application, wait, and then they tell you which bank and what interest rate you get, but it seems there's no difference in rates between the banks anyways.

Considering getting a M3 SR+ but I've only gotten my license for 4 years (M 25+ with no violations/claims) and since I recently moved here from out-of-province I got a 3 year "penalty" with ICBC (+15% year 1, +10% year 2, +5% year 3, and year 4 back to normal). I called BCAA to get a quote and...
