Well after having my car back 4 months a deer decided to run in front of the car. Bumper took most of the brunt but bonnet also caved in a bit. Bumper cracked especially near top and bonnet bent inward a bit. Pictures below. Insurance excess £800 but I’m guessing this will cost more than that...

You can just schedule it yourself most of the time, the octopus T&C's require you to do a smart charge at least once a month

My peak rate is up 1.5p a kWh, standing charge is going up over 10p a day.

Got my second bill from IO today and just to add to other comments this one had portions that lie outside the normal 6 hour window and even though the car had finished charging about an hour earlier all the segments in the charge plan were priced at the off peak rate.

It appears to be the same set up as the eon next tariff I was on before it ended and moved to Octopus. They monitor via an app how much you have charged the car then give you a credit on your bill relating to that amount. Eon next used the ev.energy app whereas this looks like the Kaluza app.

Only Octopus will be able to answer that i think.

Given the issues they had i would be tempted to disconnect and reconnect your car to the app, i got notification straight away after test connection i was on intelligent.

My app is exactly the same, however the IO schedule that was created before the issue appears to have been kept to.

I have the car departure scheduled for 6am and to only charge during off peak hours which is set for 5:30. Car does not charge when plugged in and IO creates a schedule within 30 minutes and happily controls all the charging without having to go near Tesla app.

Took a day for the readings to come through then got an email to set up intelligent. If you need to contact them I’d suggest twitter usually much quicker at responding.

Certainly sounds like a car issue rather than an octopus issue. No signal getting through so the charge can’t be controlled. If the car is in a place with otherwise good cellular signal maybe get it booked into service to get it looked at.
