What is Tesla offering for it? As a data point CarMax offered me 41K for my 2019 SR+ whereas Tesla offered $31.7K. Might want to shop around, as used prices continue to climb and for whatever reason Tesla doesn’t offer competitive prices at least in my area. Good luck.

As for trade I sold my 2019 SR+ to CarMax for $41K, Tesla was offering $31.7K. I’d recommend checking KBB instant cash, AutoNation, and Carvana. If you are in or near San Diego, also Driveo. All of those will give you a check when you make the deal. Vroom and Shift get you the money sometime...

Picked up my car from 2nd paint job just now. I can see some things that worry me but need to wait until I wash it. Inner peace. Anyway on the way back I stopped by Irvine delivery center and can confirm the NF (2022) VIN MYP does not have the new door trims.

FWIW, KBB values it at $1110.00 on a used car. Of course if someone saavy knows the value, you could likely get more, but if you go Carvana, CarMax you might even get less.

If I’m not mistaken you will be the first 2022 model to take delivery. Please report back if the car has the new door trim and/or new headlights. Or anything else that is new. Of course if someone else has already taken delivery of a 2022 please reply.

Received notification a while back that my car is ready from service and can be picked up tomorrow. So I decided to turn on Sentry and view the remote camera feed in the app to see her resting comfortably next to a white Model 3 inside the shop.

Haven’t been keeping up with all the posts. I know hard to believe. Anyone with a 2022 VIN take delivery yet? If not when is the earliest delivery day. I want to make sure and come back to see if any changes like new headlights for the LR or new door trim made it into the 2022 models.

Efficiency will improve over time. In my Model 3 I was averaging 240 wh/mi early on but once the car settled in things improved and my lifetime wh/mi was at 227 when I sold it. Still learning how my Y behaves and what to expect. Also short trips will be less efficient as it consumes more energy...

No California VINs past couple of days? Waiting to see the first NF (2022) vin get delivered to see if there is anything new on it. E.g. new headlights, door trim, etc. some East coasters have gotten 2022 VINs but it takes a while for them to get delivered.

I believe the trim (first introduced in the China models) was folded in to the 3 design around May or so this year. Made in China Y’s have already been updated to the new design for a while as well. My 2019 M3 dash/trim is identical to the Y I just took deliver of.

You can go build a model 3 in the configuration to see both black and white options.

From what I’ve read you will need to take delivery on or before the 1st. On the 2nd it gets reduced. Agreements button becomes enabled 24 hours before your scheduled delivery.

My appt was for 3:00. You’ll receive a text that your vehicle is ready for pickup that contains the space where your car is. I’d think you’d have to wait for the text. I received mine at 2:15 while still in a meeting, wasn’t distracted at all ;). Mine was Irvine though so BP could be different.

My hack for getting in the garage is turning on rear view camera and watching for seam between garage and driveway. Once I see it the garage door can close. But yeah the car will also show you inches from various front sensors.
