I just kept putting them back out when I was in the garage. When they folded I put them back out. If they were folded in the garage when I got in I put them out. I never saw the option under the fold/unfold button to select location. I did not do anything special.

Only the right rear tire is showing wear on the outside edge of the tread. Should I take it to Tesla SC or find a local shop? The car only has 15K miles on it. Is this covered by basic vehicle warranty? Bought car in October '21.

How do I do that? I tried unfold mirrors just after they folded but did not get the "Location" prompt. Tried with the car in park in the garage. Tried with the car in drive and they still will fold upon arriving home.

I set my mirrors to auto fold for my garage. I now don't what that feature. I can't get the mirrors to quit folding when I get home. I have unfolded them when they fold automatically. I don't get the option to turn the auto fold option OFF.

I probably could have done a neater and less destructive amount of cutting but I did not know where things would have ended up when I started. If I mount the spare with the center going down there is metal to metal contact so I put it with the center up. Good luck if you go this route.

Same thing happened to us on delivery day. Only traveled 1/2 mile from delivery. Managed to drive back to SC and refused the car. They returned my cashiers check and in two days I had a new car.

I did get a tracking number and expect delivery tomorrow. Took a lot of texting and posts on this thread.
