When I took delivery of my MYP last Thursday in Knoxville, the showroom was missing it's two show vehicles. I asked what happened to them and the manager said they sold all their demo vehicles. Must be new models coming in or they are boosting their Q3 numbers.

I did the same the day prior to my delivery, it’s ok, I think we all do it. Lol

Picked up my MYP today. Experience was amazing and quick. The vehicle is amazing. Only one small scratch on one of the rims, otherwise the gaps and everything else are perfect. It’s such an amazing vehicle.

Just picked it up…. I’m in LOVE with my MYP. Delivery experience was great. Vehicle looks good, only two minor issues. Small scratch on one of the rims and a rubber gasket on the roof panel. Other than that it’s perfect!

Got another call last night from my Tesla SA. Delayed delivery for the third time. Pushed back again until tomorrow. Was supposed to get the MYP on the 10th. He stated that the vehicle carriers are delayed and it’s on a truck in Birmingham (I’m in Knoxville, TN). Hurry up and wait again. Lol

My vin is very close to that and it is a MYP that I will be taking delivery of on 9/14. I was wondering when it was manufactured. Late August is pretty recent, glad to hear it hasn’t been sitting around for 3 months.

Wow, can’t believe they are not able to give you a loaner vehicle or pay for a rental. It’s on them to take care of you in my opinion.

I plan on buying a set of induction wheels once these tires go bald. I don’t want to trade the Ubers, I actually like them, but replacement tires are twice as much as the 20” tires. So I think buying a set of induction rims with new tires would be worth it. I can store the Ubers and maybe go...

Just trying to justify my own overspending. I waited for a while with the Lr order and swapped and got a vin assigned the following day. Makes me feel better to say it was all worth the extra $$ Tesla tax. Lol.

And if you want induction wheels on a MYLR, the difference between the MYP and the LR is $5k. And it’s only 23 miles of theoretical extra range you are getting with the LR.

GFCI is not required if you are installing a Tesla Wall Connector, which they outline in the manual that came with my charger. Not sure if you need it with the 14-50 NEMA.

Try it yourself. It’s not that difficult of a project if you do a little research. I installed my Tesla Wall Connector and it only took me about two hours to complete. I did a video on it to help others if you are interested in taking a look at what goes into it:
