I solved this issue for myself. I finally found a plastic dead pedal cover and ordered it. The holes are still in the foam under the carpet so I was able to retrofit it in place. Then I ordered Lloyds Luxe mats. WAY better!

I have the same issue, I feel it when I accelerate from a stop. I can also make it do it by pushing on the dead pedal. My service appointment is for April 4th.

And after the recall, the additional nags are very annoying. Popping up a message on the screen and then nagging me to pay attention because I'm reading the nag is ridiculous. Meanwhile GM and Ford are hyping up their handsfree driving.

Did they ask for a few hundred boxes in people's driveways too? That's very inconvenient, even if they are small boxes.

Mine vibrates intermittently but no grinding noise. Took it in for service when I first got it. They lubed it and it seemed to work for a couple of weeks but it went back to doing it. I think it happens when it's cold out.

Just curious, is your opinion based on all of the pics of that particular repair on yelp, or only the ones that I posted?

Luckily with the 22 I don't have that piano black. If I had an older model, for floor mats I'd get a set of Lloyds and be done with it since they had the footrest cover. I guess the problem is that I was in the aftermarket auto industry for years and used to build show cars. I have my own idea...

The real issue is the lack of footrest cover. I'll just have to solve that and then I can get a set of Lloyds or equivalent.

The 3D Max logo is pretty annoying to me but I was referring to the WENNEBIRD. The issue I have with the 3D Max is that they are the thermoformed All Weather type mat that I don't want.

Thanks but even though the bottom mats are more like what I'm going for, these aren't them. I guess a couple of decades of developing products and dealing with overseas CM's has made me predisposed to not proudly represent fake brands like WENNEBIRD or any of the other all caps letter jumbles...

Since the entire back is Velcro, if and when the mat scoots forward, the foot rest cover portion stays in place causing a fold at the bottom. When I notice the fold under my foot, I can't simply slide it back with my heel. I need to stop the car, peal the mat up and pull it back into place...

As my title says, I hate the Tesla floor mats. The part of the mat that covers the foot rest tends to fold and bunch up at the bottom because the mats are so thin. I looked into some high end carpet mats but none of them cover the foot rest. Tesla removed and discontinued the plastic foot rest...

2022 has the newer TPMS. You need the Bluetooth sensors, not the older RF sensors. If the wheels you put on are from a pre 2020 car, they have the wrong sensors for you.

Try shopping for new insurance. I saved by switching both my car and home to AAA with better coverage and WAY better customer service.

Mine does that but it's rare and it's only for a second or so. I think it started a couple updates ago but not exactly sure when.

The Farmers preferred shop is over an hour away. Farmers has finally worked with the Tesla repair center to agree on a rate and I take my car in tomorrow. I've done some comparisons and I'll actually save a bit on my total insurance by switching to AAA for Home and Car coverage.

I'm up in Ventura county. After much fighting, Farmers and the body shop came to an agreement. I take my car in tomorrow to get the repair done.

The Service center told me they don't do any body work and sent me to the Certified shop. I didn't want tot go through my insurance if I could avoid it. Google Tesla bumper replacement for a Model 3 and you will notice that $2000 is not unusual. I pay more for an OEM part clause on my policy...

It's very similar. Farmers not paying the higher rates for Tesla repairs.

Except that Farmers doesn't want to pay the repair cost the Certified shop charges.
