Just thought I would bump this to include anyone with an order who is not looking to keep their Ubertines either. Cheers

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

https://carsmind.com/2018-Subaru-Forester-2.0XT.specs48575 It's relatively fast. It has the same turbo that is in the WRX it's just not tweaked as much..... I expect the SR with more torque straight off the line would be nice but I think the difference between that and the XT would not be...

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

Alas if I swap to the LR it won't arrive till April through late May. The car has to arrive before March 31st to still get the corp deal I checked.

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

All those reasons plus the LR itself tbh. I have pulled trigger yet. Taking my wife for a test drive mid Jan in the LR. I will probably change it then so I won't get it till June I expect....

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

I spent more on the optional extras with the RW package. I added the LR wheels and the Red paint. The corporate package through work brought it to about 67400. The LR in White (can't justify the extra for the red) and the wheels I picked for the RW are standard with LR and comes in around 77k...

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

Indeed, it's interesting just what they can lock behind their walls. I wonder if the acceleration boost that you can get with the LR would work on the RW? I expect we will never find out. I guess I will just wait the extra months and go from Red to White for the LR

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

That is where I am leaning ... the Turbo is pretty quick off the mark I don't think I would notice the difference between the two as much as the LR ... I do like the new type of battery the SR has compared to the LR ... I also like the fact I would have it in 8 weeks as opposed to 20 ....

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

Indeed. I am on the fence as to whether to change my order from the RW to the LR the difference is about 10k for me but the wait time pushes out from 8 weeks to 20 weeks.... I like some punch in my car hence the query ....

    Rear Wheel model acceleration comparison

Hi all, I am wondering if someone here could give me a general comparison between the rear wheel drive version's acceleration and another type of ice? I currently have '18 XT Forester Turbo I assume the M3 has more punch than that? Cheers

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

I wonder is they will give RW access to the AB like the LR.

Looking for some Model 3 Ubertine wheels if anyone is looking to off load.

Hi Guys, I ordered one of the rear wheel drive models and I am looking for some second hand Ubertines so if anyone has any they wish to sell send me a message. Cheers Mike

Ubertine wheels for non performance models

Yes second hand sounds like a plan. I think I will keep the '19 Sports on it for atleast a year. They go really well with the red anyway and it would be a huge waste to move on from them straight out the gate. In saying that if anyone in Australia wants to sell theirs let me know lol.

Ubertine wheels for non performance models

Either way does anyone know how much it costs to get a set off Tesla?

Ubertine wheels for non performance models

Indeed that is a fair point. I ordered the '19 Silvers with the red exterior so I'm not too disappointed if I stay with these heh. I expect I will be able to find something similar to the ubers aftermarket in a '19 anyway.

Ubertine wheels for non performance models

Indeed, if anyone knows how much a set cost I would appreciate knowing. Would it be around 2 or 3 K?

Ubertine wheels for non performance models

Hi Guys, I'm interested in buying some Ubertine 20's for my Model 3. It's seems you can't upgrade to them you have to take physical delivery first and then order them. Could anyone tell me how much they are to purchase from Tesla and also where to look second hand? Cheers Mike

    Red Exterior with White Interior?

I'm in a very sunny area and preferences seee leaning towards white. I just have the concern of maintaining the clean look I guess

    Red Exterior with White Interior?

Hi all, On Monday I'm going to place my order for a Model 3. I'm going with the red exterior with the 19' white wheels. I'm keen to pair it with the white interior as I think it compliments the red and the wheels. The boss wants black. I'm interested in some opinions. Cheers Mike

Model 3 Rear Wheel Drive Ubertine Wheels

Hi All, First time buyer. The rear wheel drive ticked all the boxes for me but I must admit I do like the Ubertine wheels on the Performance model though not enough to buy the performance model itself. Is there anyway to get the performance wheels on the rear wheel model? I thought if anymore...
