Sorry to reactivate an old thread but this exact scenario just happened to me, so no software fix out that I'm aware of. The FWD doors seem fairly well aligned when closed and have been working OK (except with the hinge snap that is happening as reported by some others as it opens and closes)...

i've had my Model X for about 2 months, it was clicking badly so I had the SC replace it. The sound went away for about 2 weeks and now it is back...

The X is for my wife, she is channeling her "inner ninja" and got black/black with the plan to get aftermarket black 20's from TST sportline. She actual wants red but my D is red so thought it would look odd in the driveway...

Interesting, I remember for my Model S I just accepted the $5k deductible and later found out others got different deals... Hopefully they recorded my chat and can pull it up! the $5k deductible hurt when I had $15k of damage to my car last year

Called TD Meloche Monnex today as well and got a solid quote, base quote for $1 mill liability, $2500 comp deductible, $1000 collision deductible with replacement value was $1200 a year... Cheaper than my P85D and a lower deductible! They had 90D as an option. State Farm was $1400 for similar...

Still waiting for my X (*JEALOUS*) so can't comment of the spoiler but if I run my S through an automated wash I just flip on the tow mode and all goes well. The wash I use is a high end one with essentially a touchless wash first then soft rollers after all the 'sandpaper grit' is off, hand...

Haven't had that much this year but last year I had to plow my street after a similar dump of snow with my D to get to work... should have invoiced City works I guess... And then I wondered by my driver assist features were off, the radar was under snow :rolleyes:

Just got mine, car delivered late Jan 2015, couldn't get green plates until late Feb so around 10 weeks to get the rebate from submission

Insurance has signed off on it and paid in full but still in communication with me. I'm working that route but they'll want to know where to send it for the 4th attempt.

Did it have front end damage? Saw a Black P85D with the bumper off and leaking coolant at Excellence today.

Make sure you check the paint in the sunlight, I had to send mine back to get the bumper repainted, still isn't perfect but 'the best they can do with multicoat red'

Any updates? How'd the repair go?

I've had mine through this winter in Ontario and parked it outside, no issues with the windows or doors freezing up, even at -38... I did pre-heat fairly aggressively though

Haha, I was a broken man on a Halifax pier and took off to Upper Canada. Great point on the boat, the ferry still runs (thanks to $23 mill from the gov't), I think its about $700 for a car and one passenger and takes 10 hours, not sure if one can charge but that would be slick as you could make...

yup it's a britax, the base fits between the bolsters perfectly without indenting them, I threw an old towel under them to protect the seats and to catch the Cheerios...

Just got my D yesterday, I like the rear seats, seem comfortable enough, folded down enough for me to put 4 19" winter tires in with room to spare. Won't be folding them much more not as the 2 and 5 year old want to drive in Daddy's new car... car seats LATCH in well BTW

Strange reason as to why I was the first in Ontario, a few P85Ds (mine included) arrived in Toronto last weekend but for some reason the Gov't of Ontario decided that 2015 Teslas (not 2014s) are ICE cars, not green and thus cannot get green plates or the rebate... The DS in Toronto only found...

The 407 was all slush on the way back, even with the all seasons on the D had no issues, cracked along at 90 with no 'slush steer' or pulling at all. Very, very happy I wasn't in my Golf that I traded in for the D!

Got my P85D yesterday, braved the crappy roads to the Lawrence Ave centre, 2 hours + drive... They told me have the first 2015 in Ontario, maybe in Canada nice to hear. Next gen front and back, heated wheel and nice new keychains, a great experience all around. Michelin Xice mounted today so...

Got my P85D last night, braved the blizzard for 2 hours to the Lawrence Ave center. Well worth it! What a car! I'm told I have the first 2015 in Ontario, anyone else in Canada get a 2015 yet? Also got the new keychains that arrived 20 minutes before my pick up, all good all around.

New to the forum, just woke up from my bear cave. I was Model S res#64 in Canada but wanted 4WD for Canadian winters so held off... unfortunately in light of 300 000 people losing power last becoming Canadian production res #305 yesterday may have been an error... kidding, can't wait!
