Headlights shouldn’t be blinding oncoming cars. The headlights probabaly need adjusting to the correct level. Yes, they sometimes come from factory with incorrect levels. Remote appointment should be able to fix easily.

Wohoooo! Just got my delivery text. Blue M3P. March 16th pickup from Southampton.

Yes! Thomas came back and confirmed he has matched me to a car due for delivery late March. My account has subsequently been updated. Phew.

So I ended up speaking with a chap called Thomas. He wasn’t able to confirm as he said based on my order I should receive it in March. He is not aware of any delays, but confirmed the system is currently saying May-June. He is going to check with his supervisor and then email me later today…...

I originally ordered a blue M3P in November. I asked it to be put on hold for a March delivery. ETA was ‘March’ for a while, now it’s changed. Talking with Tesla chat now.

For crying out loud. After being assured multiple times I was having a March delivery, my account now says “May 08 - June 05”. Fuming.

So… today is the day I will receive my delivery arrangement text (forceful optimism). 😁 Come on now, ETA is March, can’t be that much longer surely…

Contacted my TA re my MP3 with an EDD of ‘March’. They confirmed I have been assigned and it is currently being shipped to the UK. Told I should get an SMS soon. The portal doesn’t show my VIN yet though so asked them to confirm. Fingers crossed.

The way it’s going I’ll be amazed if I get mine on the EDD of ‘March’. Crazy times.

Interesting! I did not know that. Doing some reading now it also seems that drivers will, for now at least, be able to turn the feature off, as long as the manufacture makes that possible (but it will restart every time the car switches on, a bit like auto-stop on an ICE).

Not to add more doom and gloom… but doesn’t the mandatory EU-derived speed limiter law come into force for all cars made after June 2022… so anyone who orders a Tesla now is basically signing up to that?

I’m curious, Tesla ask for a wire transfer at least 48 hours prior to collection. I would instead prefer to look over the car for defects before handing over my money. Is this possible?

Did anyone else notice this? Is this new? Have they simply moved the lowered suspension from the ‘performance upgrade’ to be a standard part of the performance model (I know in the US it’s charged for separately)? Good to see performance models still have lowered suspension though!

I had the exact same situation as you. Contact your local Tesla dealer. They can place the order on hold for you so you can get a later allocation.

Good spot! Yeah, it does seem then that this has always been the case. Why though? Seems odd to have the performance version riding higher. Unless they found it had to in order to accommodate the wider wheels for some reason.

It would really suck if the suspension isn’t lowered. My other car is an M2 Comp and I love the sporty look with the lowered suspension.
