Tires: Bridgestone Potenza Sport AS - 235/45R18

Thanks for posting this! I'm tire shopping now too for my M3 LR AWD and considering these tires. It looks like Discount Tire has both tires (old and new version?), though something isn't adding up here: Costco's website lists the Potenza Sport as 98W with a 500 treadwear rating for $225 less...

    "officially recommended" tire rotation pattern?

I've got a 2022 TM3 LR AWD, standard wheels that my wife has been driving, and she'd like to have the tires checked/rotated. After checking the owners manual, etc., we couldn't find anything about the recommended pattern when rotating the tires. We're used to seeing that information documented...

    315 MHz Liftmaster w/Security+ won't learn TM3's Homelink

I got it to work, but the upshot in my case is this: Pitch Homelink's present instructions for the TM3, and just use Tesla's. And press just the one button on the 373LM (handheld remote), not two or more like Homelink says. After the Tesla flashed its headlights to indicate it had identified the...

    315 MHz Liftmaster w/Security+ won't learn TM3's Homelink

Ah, from what you're saying, it sounds like the first part is having the Telsa identify the system (i.e., its frequency and protocol) by "playing" an existing handheld remote for it, and the second part is then having the GDO learn the Telsa's rolling code in a manner like it learns other...

    315 MHz Liftmaster w/Security+ won't learn TM3's Homelink

I've been having trouble getting our Liftmaster 3850P-267 to learn the Homelink that Tesla just installed in my 2022 TM3. The Liftmaster's receiver is known-good, having no range issues and a recent history of programming two 373LMs, Homelink in a 2007 Prius, and a wired remote keypad. Been...

Delivery / Service Issues (panel gaps, delivery delays / issues / Service problems etc)

I'm wondering the same thing with mine. It is very easy to swing the doors closed when getting out without them actually latching all the way closed.

OK to still shop for loan rates after approval of loan through Tesla?

The 2.25% rate is for the same terms as what I had with Tesla (i.e., 72 months). I believe the lower rate you‘re speaking of is for up to 65 months. Personally speaking, I may adjust in return for the even lower rate, but I wanted to give an apples-to-apples comparison between Tesla’s lender and...

OK to still shop for loan rates after approval of loan through Tesla?

I spoke with Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU | Personal & Business Banking) last night. Their current rate is 2.25% (i.e., better than the 2.75% Tesla just pulled "a switch" on me right before delivery). Some of what DCU told me will no doubt be surprising, given the answers already provided...

OK to still shop for loan rates after approval of loan through Tesla?

It that feasible with just a few days left in the 4-day delivery window Tesla gave me? What are the costs/risks of doing it after vs. original financing?

OK to still shop for loan rates after approval of loan through Tesla?

I was already given a delivery date and VIN. All of this has happened in less than the past week.

OK to still shop for loan rates after approval of loan through Tesla?

Actually, the delivery window offered when my VIN was assigned the next day makes made me doubt whether a cheaper lender can be lined up in time. Being able to complete refinancing in the days afterward would mean not jeopardizing my delivery window.

OK to still shop for loan rates after approval of loan through Tesla?

Background: In making unrealistic EDDs and not meeting them, Tesla cost me the 2.5% APY rate that I locked in to fit their upcoming delivery window. To prevent their EDD from pushing out further, I felt the need to proceed with a higher rate less than a week before the end of their last EDD...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

These articles in August, 2021 suggest the number is over 1.25 million, actually: Far from a Flop: Tesla Cybertruck orders surpass 1.2 million units Tesla Now Has More Than 1.25 Million Pre-Orders For The Cybertruck We’ll see, I guess !

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I was told today that they can confirm Ryzen (& lithium 12V) once the vehicle arrives at Tesla’s service center. Otherwise they say it “likely has them” but they “don’t know for sure” until then. Is that consistent with what you were told? What everyone else knows? Or is there a way for them to...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Any pointers to information on what to look for at the delivery inspection? I hear about looking for gaps or misalignments, but what really do they look like? Anyone with photos? What’s repairable and what’s a red flag? I walked along a row of TM3s on display last month, every one of which had...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I haven’t gotten such an email (I wish!), but a report I read on InsideEVs | Electric Vehicle News, Reviews, and Reports said that the claimed impact was 14 miles of range. Like what someone is losing by taking 19” wheels instead of the standard 18” wheels. As an embedded software developer, my...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I’ve heard absolutely nothing to suggest that American M3s will be built in Texas rather than Fremont. More likely an M3 will come from China than Texas. The Austin plant is starting out with MYs, thus taking the load off Fremont so they can make more M3s. I bit on the M3 in December, because I...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Whoa, whiplash! A day or two after Tesla pushed my EDD from next week to 3/11-3/31 or so, I found out my loan approval had expired (grrr...I didn’t even need the loan, but at 2.5% I could do better putting the cash elsewhere, and now they raised the APR to 2.74% … still not bad, but irritating...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

This thread had some posts in the past couple of days saying that they're being delivered now either with both 12 V lithium and the Ryzen CPU or neither.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

And I'm going to have to figure out how to get this in the footer of my message (putting it in my profile didn't seem to do it): M3LR AWD white/black, 18" aero, no FSD (Scottsdale, AZ) OD: 12/6/21, 1st EDD 1/7-2/4 (2022), EDD@1/9: 1/24-2/21, @1/24: 1/30-2/21, @1/30: 2/4-2/18, @2/4: 2/8-2/18...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I'm new to this forum, after a very unpleasant surprise on Wednesday: Any clues what the bleep happened? For the date range to converge and then suddenly be so awful suggests that something is amiss. I've kept up with everything asked of me, so I'm really starting to wonder what other...
