Should be a straightforward software update. Add the option to auto-dim the mirrors when the rear & at least one of the blind-spot cameras has the Sun in the field of view. Good for early morning/evening to reduce the blinding by the Sun reflecting on the mirrors.

The cynic in me thinks that they are holding up the Q1 M3 RWDs - when they were selling for $60k hoping we’ll all get pissed off, cancel & order Y’s.

My original EDD was 5-7 months back in Feb now will be lucky to see anything this year. Meanwhile the gouging by the fuel cartel continues.

So now at 242 days, 8 Months to the day from order - still no sign of the elusive VIN. EDD still showing Aug-Nov 2022. Thinking that if VINs are not assigned at sea we are going to be bumped to Q1 2023 which really sucks!!

237 days for me - I could laugh but my little daily driver has just blown the head gasket & is BER forcing me to drive the SUV that I plan to trade plus spending $150 a week on petrol is adding to the pain. Elon throw us a bone here!!

For me that ship has sailed (pun intended) finance expired at the weekend. Maquarie now over 6% so may go elsewhere when the VIN finally drops. Some credit unions are offering Green vehicle loans around the 4.5% mark

Actually I have restarted the app - even re-installed as I changed phones on Thursday - still no EDD in the app - OK on website. Being in SA I only started to see it in the app when they opened the Adelaide delivery center. Also in the source code the year field which was 2022 is now blank.

Anybody else had the EDD disappear from the app in the last couple of days?

That's concerning as I did have 2022 in the year until this week - now blank. Hope this doesn't mean I have been bumped to 2023

Yep us with Q1 RWD orders appear to have got the rough end of the pineapple for sure. I'm sure that I'm not alone with now facing the triple-whammy of a higher interest rate, extra ICE servicing & suffering another 3 months of high petrol prices. No way really to be diplomatic but this SUCKS!

To be fair some of us are decidedly un-chilled with the prospect of waiting until November with the additional ICE costs of fuel & servicing that entails.

Looking increasingly likely that RWD in Aus have been hung out to dry in Q3. Very frustrating as will lose the lower interest rate & also be stuck servicing the ICE if delayed to November. Would be nice if they could fit the new CATL M3P batteries to compensate us for the delays.

I think governments backed by Law Enforcement would block this unless all vehicles have GPS tracking, would make tracking a vehicle used in a crime more difficult to identify if the colour can be changed with the click of an app.

Yes I can confirm that I had the same reply regarding custom plates in S.A. We need more South Aussies to get with the program so we can get a distribution center here - this would allow EDDs to be provided rather than the 'mushroom mode' we currently experience.
