Wanted to update the group, I just took delivery today, and it was an amazing experience. Car has matrix headlights, mobile charger, and a nice delivery guy. Stay strong, the wait is worth it!

Quick update, received my car today with Matrix headlights and a mobile charger! Super happy with delivery, and my Tesla delivery guy looked just like Angus Cloud (literally a woman stopped her car on my street to see if it was him). 249xxx vin was good 👍🏼

or like me, sold their other car and need this to get to work on Monday lol

I thought Matrix was "Global", and "premium" was reflective - i think you have those mixed up

Tesla officially added the wall connector and mobile connector upgrades to the order page. Aug-Oct delivery for the Mobile Connector, and a nice 4 month window for new Model 3 orders... ouch

They changed the specs on their site around Nov 1, 2021 for the 2022 models, which would roughly align with a Jan 1 delivery, so in theory people getting cars in 2023 will have 2023 updates, but they also tend to just update stuff as its ready. Found this article on 2022 updates, which came out...

If you switch between the 18" and 19" rims right now on the order page it updates from Aug-Oct to Jun-Aug, respectively.. so I think you're right, the aero wheels are in short supply

Based on this, it looks like we'll start seeing more VINs assigned next week, and ramping up into May (which explains the large group of people with May-June EDD's)

Ordered a few days after you in a similar config, your update isnt the most comforting (my EDD is close to your old EDD), hoping my proximity to the factory helps some. Here's to hoping a batch of MSM are close to the end!

From what I read online it can be pricey to get done, but the guy I found here locally is doing some other business for me, and claims he'll throw the rims in when they run other customers work, so it could just cost me a bottle decent whiskey 😁 Need the car/rims first before I can follow up...

I had this same situation, and a similar OD as you - it seems like something related to the 19" rims

I havent bought anything but found a shop locally that will black anodize my rims.. I'm considering that, but not sure yet

Congrats on the VIN! I'm anxiously waiting for midnight when my EDD will update. I've got no trade-in, and financing outside Tesla; I've heard no trade-in helps speed things up.
