Do not go tuxmat, I have had salt bleedthrough last winter and the trunk mat fitment is horrible on the model Y. Their customer service sucks as well. They wouldn't allow pick up from their warehouse even though I live 10 minutes away, I had to wait for their "free" shipping.

I'm on the fence about the Shanghai sourced cars. Smaller battery 79kwhr bs 82kwhr and unknown Canadian climate performance. My X5 is tentatively sold, and I was going to replace it with another model Y, but I'm leaning towards the IX now.

Is it possible to purchase an extended warranty? I doubt I'd do that kind of mileage in 3 years, but I think I'd buy a warranty if its still possible given the possibility of failure. I think you'd take more of a loss trading in than fixing the issue as well

So in reality, there is nothing to distinguish one e-commerce site from the other, not even the product. Its the same mat from Costco, cheaper, with brick and mortar to facilitate returns if needed. Its your money, spend it as you see fit, mine would never go to tuxmat in the future.

Tux mat is one of those companies I tried to support by buying locally. They have no local pickup option despite me being 10 minutes away from their location, "free" shipping just means the price is baked into the cost of the product. Why would you not give people picking up locally a discount...

My buddy ordered a MY LR same time as me (Jan '22). I switched to MY P and got my car end of July. His delivery was last saturday. I was going to get his (10k less than current pricing) and sell X5, if he could transfer the order to me, but tesla didn't allow it. Lots of cars in inventory now...

CCS charging on IVY network on the way back from Montreal was okay. Supercharged in Kingston, and then topped up whenever we stopped at enroute Quebec drivers have it good, on street charging, imagine that!
