VIN (448) on 21st Aug (source code), Text to schedule delivery on 24th Aug (with an option book from 27th Sept) . No reg yet

A lot of April - May orders are scheduled collect their cars from 27th to 30th of Sept. Including myself on 27th (this is earliest day they told me to collect). So it’s pretty likely that cars are arriving days before 27th. So, I am guessing that there needs to be a ship before 27th.

Is there a ship arriving Southampton after GLOVIS SUNRISE in this quarter ? Also VIN check link does not work. The fermont programmers removed the VIN from that link and placed elsewhere in the source

I think they removed it from the Json output of the service we used to call. Now it’s put elsewhere

They moved the vin out from there . It’s still there if you do a ver source on chrome . They have removed from the service may be because there are too many hits

Trade in valuation happens 4 weeks before the delivery. So it can come by end of this month or even first week or Sept and still you may get it by Sept end

Agree, In the last quarter many recieved beyond March 15 for delivery for end of March and first week of April

Not necessarly . In fact , I know for sure that many in this date range including myself dont have VIN in the source code. I know just one person who has a VIN booked for collection on Sept 5th though

As quarter end pushes were the norm (even that's case still) with Tesla , so there were much less cars (may be just few hundreds) during first two months of the quarter

I think Tesla would fufil all Model Y orders placed until mid of May and all Model 3 orders placed until March end - towards end of Sept. This is with an assumption that no lock down and no adverse shipping delays

Mine is quite similar (except mine is cash buy) - we both should get our car by Sept end ( I think its quite certain )

I think there are two other options 1) Differ it to the next quarter- I think you can do it for maximum 6 months , check with SA. 2) The cars have increased by £3000( model y ) since May . You can take it and sell it Ethically option 1)

I got my EDD updated to August 28 - September 27. I know it doesnt mean much. But I am aware that many had Sep 5 - Oct EDD earlier like me. Just wondering whether most of us has similar update ?

The sofware EAP and FSD has an impact as its not possible to take it out(easily). So If you have ordered with FSD , they are updated at Shanghai. If a rejection comes, then it will be assigned to someone ordered with FSD option

I have seen that in twitter , this was in combination with a software change introduced with 2022.20 (adaptive suspension) .Think I have also seen that in this forum (company & tech forum ) of TMC

Agree - but the showroom can allocate unassigned /rejected VIN to an order. I automated allocation of VIN to the order happens when ship is loaded or while moved to destination. However when somone does not accept a delivery , then they appears on their systems and showroom/SA can reassign...

I ordered the base model Y in April and my friend in May. I am stuck with Sept end . However my friend popped in MK showroom and they managed to assign him a VIN against the cancellation and getting his car by mid of August ! - just under 3 months after placing the order 😳

Look at MYLR price now ! It gone up by £3000. If you call off the order, then you will loose £200 (plus lose of opportunity cost £3000), but if you don't , then £3000 gain. I wouldn't call off unless there a big reason
