Yes different production line that is it. How would you feel if you ordered a M3 in December, 8 to 12 week EDD. Missed FY22 Q3 delivery, missed FY22Q4, new EDD of late FY23 Q1 or FY23 Q2. Then Tesla advises orders for MY starting in June, to be fulfilled in August. People start to get VIN's 1...

Don't forget they are now prioritising the Y over the M3 (yes I know different line but still a kick in the guts to the M3 people well past their original EDD)

So the people who had orders which should have received cars in Q1 (ordered in Nov and Dec), they should blame the lockdown in the middle of Q2 not Tesla? The lockdown is also to blame for the lack of communication for Tesla?

As if Tesla didn’t know this was happening when they advised from August deliveries on outstanding orders of the Model 3 and Model Y. All they want is orders on the books, it appears more and more they don’t give a crap about their customers

Ordered 4/1. White/White LR. Delivery timeframe has dropped from the website and app. It's now advising that they will reach out to schedule delivery. So no updated delivery timeframes yet

I ordered on the 4/1, white and white LR. So I am also at the 18 week mark. Have not had any communication from Tesla. Just think to tell everyone at the last minute that there will be no deliveries is wrong. They would have known earlier.

Seems though it’s not the 3 week shutdown, it’s just AIS/NZ are low priority to Tesla. Example being a person from Japan ordering on the 17th March and receiving a VIN in early May. The majority of people have been waiting a lot longer than that here
