P90D subframe cracked / rear toe links issue PLEASE HELP

UPDATE: Sub Frames do not flex, tried to make them move using a large crow bar, but they are very tight. I used a torque wrench to tighten it according to spec anyway. Any pointers on the next logical step? Is there a way how to rule out the rear toe links without simply replacing them? cc...

    Rear trunk won't open

Had exactly the same on my Model S P90D (late nosecone). Was fixed by replacing the same components as mentioned by @bmah. Can be done DIY, together with a buddy. Will take you 60-120 minutes. Can also be done by Tesla rangers on your location for €373 in Germany There’s good videos on youtube.

Model S (P90D) sat idle for three weeks. This is how I found it.

update on the matter: The moment I got in the car, the compressor turned on, and pumped up the rear air suspension to “very high”; as that was the setting I left the car in three weeks ago. As to WHY just the rear sagged, my theory is: Car was parked on a hill (nose facing down the hill). So...

Thanks Dave :) I haven’t touched the car yet, but will now take it for a quick spin to see if it will come up again (and if there’s any errors).

Model S (P90D) sat idle for three weeks. This is how I found it.

Hi all, As title suggests, I left my car parked for three weeks (20 nights) and just found it like you can see in my video: It’s the first time I leave it untouched for such a time. The car is still in “Very High” air suspension setting, as I left it. The car is not lowered, all suspension...

Model X staggered wheels on Model S

Yes, it’s possible to use MX on MS with these specs: 20x9 ET 35MM & 20x9.5 ET 40MM. Tires 245/40 & 285/35 Slight rubbing on the front, when reversing under an angle, may occur (tire thread catching the wheel liner); similar rubbing to the stock 21‘‘ wheels with spacers. Hope this helps.

What is happening to my paint?

I would wet sand it, then a 3 stage machine polish. worse case scenario: you take off too much clear and need a new coat, for which you already did the prep.. You could even DIY the clear with 2K Spraymax cans if you’re on a budget.

OMG What the F is this?!!

I checked the parts catalog and the subframe bolt no. 3, has identical specs. I drove the car and under acceleration it pulls a bit to the right.. so I think there’s a good chance this bolt is indeed missing from the subframe. Can I easily put it back in from the bottom of the car? As far as I...

Facelift hood on nose cone MS.

Hello friends, I’ve just gotten back my front facelift bumper from the paintshop and installed it. I knew I would have this so called underbite, due to the shorter hood on the nosecone MS. From my due diligence I found out that the cleanest way to solve this aesthetic issue, would be to...

First of all, thanks for providing your insights! These Vossen HF2 are (square) 30 ET x 9j, while factory is 40 ET x 8.5j So if I understood correctly, the 10 ET offset difference will push the Vossens 10mm outwards already (like a spacer) + 0.5j difference will push them outward 0.5 inch more...
