Tesla Brisbane mobile service charged me $71.28 in May'23 for rear to front. In January '24 side to side cost $100.98 (2 jacks). At those prices it wasn't worth me taking the time needed to use a local tyre place - but at $140 it would tempt me greatly.

Back in late January I received one AP strike. I presumed it would be forgotten after 1 week but it still remains on the AP screen. Could it be that you need 5 strikes and a total ban before the 1 week suspension removal kicks into play? Anyone been so foolish recently and can comment?

Thank you for the explanation. So my plan is to continue to drive urban w/o covers for the aesthetics and with covers for road trips for the (small) extended range. Also continuing to carry the spare wheel for long trips but removing it when home. Old, so belt and braces.

Perhaps, but the speed limit reverts to 50kph for the rest of the street - so not unrestricted which I understand to be the meaning of that sign in Oz (or was when I was much younger).

Updated to 23.44.30.2 this morning. First drive down my own street noticed a new sign - went around the block to check I was not hallucinating. Photos of new sign on screen and actual sign. Haven't seen one of these de-restriction signs for many years. Signage recognition still some way to go yet.

Drove past yesterday pm - still surrounded by high privacy fence. The approach is via the main traffic route in North Lakes - a real nightmare at this time of the year (and possibly all year).

My experience. The day I took delivery of my Y RWD my wife said she could hear the whirring noise of the electric motor. After I had installed the boot rubber mat and the parcel shelf (retractable) she told me could not hear that noise. I have never heard the noise.

In my 2022 Y RWD a pet tether (from K Mart) plugged into one of the rear seat restraint points is all that is required - no weight necessary.

I am interested to find out how accurate is the speed displayed on the screen? My previous vehicle (Forester) always indicated about 4% more than the actual speed (GPS). Also, how does the MY actually read the speed? Sensors?GPS? Any help appreciated.
