I think they're making progress on catching up - my order was a month before yours - I have a VIN but am waiting for the suspected ship to dock at Melb. What was the EDD period when you ordered? Is it still within your EDD window?

Does anyone have any idea why the Morning Crystal is so reluctant to dock at Port Melbourne and is just hanging out around outside the bay? Please Sir, I want my car....

My EV subsidy expires 3 Feb (after the additional 120 day extension - I ordered 9 April 2022). My EDD is currently 4 Feb - 25 Feb. I spoke with Tesla and they said they will apply for another extension and gave me the impression that a 2nd extension is not an uncommon thing. I'm still holding...

Hi AdeInMelbs, Not sure if you got an answer on this one yet, but they told me the delivery sms link comes out once the cars are on a truck and leave the port. I guess they can't predict how long the unload/customs process may take. I believe there are 3 ships this week, so hopefully movement...

My Next Steps not yet updated: The paranoia is real lol. I haven't received any email/sms from them either - have you? I did call though and they assured all is fine with my account - also advised that invoices should be available in the next couple of days.

I don't have an invoice yet - is there another way to tell? Incidentally - my 'Next Steps' has not updated, still says 'Once a VIN has been assigned...', is that the case for the others too? I definitely have a VIN in the source code.

OMGoodness.... I just got VINed!! OD 09/04/22, Melb. Blue/Black RWD. Est Deliv now 12 Jan - 02 Feb. Vin in source code suggests 2022 model so not sure if it's already here or on the way... but... finally!!!! Happy Days!

Yes - I concur. Mine expired last week and my Macquarie guy quoted me the same figures. Quite a big change, I'll do some shopping around now. Macquarie were probably hoping like anything that the deliveries would be delayed so they didn't have to honour those old rates!!

Lol, very true... I really feel for you guys and your wait. Mine is horrible and I just want it now but I'm not even technically in the delivery window I was originally quoted yet (6 days out). To have to wait this long when you would have expected it months ago would be excruciating!

My OD is 09/04 and for what it's worth SA told me it will be here before xmas... Though honestly I don't think they have any more info than we do.

Problem with that is that it also holds them accountable for managing the backlogs and ensuring they are not terribly uneven comparing region to region....

I went through the order agreement for the same reason and it clearly states you are only paying for an order to be placed and it is not a deposit on the car and the purchase of the car does not take place until delivery. So by my thinking we're safe. Also waiting for the legislation to become...
