So what if there are hundreds of things that needs adjusting, does that mean we shouldn’t talk about any ? Your logic can be applied any of the hundreds
Yeah the voice command is an alternative but is still not idea when I’m driving & my wife needs to access it immediately.
I wasn’t aware of this S3XY buttons, thanks. Let me have a look at it on their shop
Update: wow this costs £155!!
Hi,
There is a very common complaint across the community about Glovebox not being very accessible for obvious reasons. Apparently since 2019, its "work in progress". Meanwhile, was wondering if anybody has suggested or requested (to Elon or anybody else within Tesla) to simply add 'Glovebox'...
Hi,
There is a very common complaint across the community about Glovebox not being very accessible. So as one of the solutions, I was requesting if we could add the 'Glovebox' icon to the 'Quick Access' tray (screenshot attached).
We already have car features like Steering heating, Wipers etc...
Yup. This box is checked which is why it’s frustrating!
The issue is the way Tesla have built this - the network might stay connected but wifi itself turns off so even if the box is checked it doesn’t matter because when I start driving, the Wi-Fi itself switches off.
Hi, I tried this but doesn’t fix my issue. even if I stop using my garage wifi, I still have the problem of wifi switching off when driving and when I park & drive the car.
Oh yeah this happens to me as well. Frustrating to suddenly lose music when driving (especially with a child in the back seat - ruckus when music stops)
My setup:
I have a garage where I have Wi-Fi. When driving, I use my mobile hotspot. Both these Wi-Fi network have the “Connect while driving” option turned on.
My Issue:
Whenever I drive off my garage, the wifi automatically gets turned off (fyi - doesn’t just disconnect from the network but...
Churchill is cheap but they dont do business lease insurance (at the time of writing this).
Direct line is your best bet as they have a tie up with Tesla UK for insurance. They are comparably cheap as well.
I’m replacing the default USB stick with a combo of High endurance microSD card and a USB stick which has a card reader (links mentioned below). The USB stick has a direct microSD reader and also a card reader (which can have a microSD inserted in it)
However, when I plug the microSD directly...
Yes I went with the same but from 3D MATS (UK) … I paid a total of £290 for 1st & 2nd row + trunk liner. Got it shipped within 3 days.
Overall very happy with the quality, price and experience.
Yes that’s the one. The same on Amazon comes around £400-500 (including trunk). Correct, I’m not going for the rear seat back protector.
Almost anywhere I see these mats costs in dollars and comes upto more than £450 all put together. This is the only shop where the cost is in pounds so...
Maxpider website not just for reference. It’s coming out to be way cheaper than Amazon. In their website 2 rows and trunk mat are £308 and on Amazon just the 2 rows cost £319 !!
Probably because Amazon vendors ship it from US and maxpider might have a local factory in the UK (atleast seems that...
Can you put it on top of the default mat for extra protection ?
Also did you buy it from Amazon or Teslarati (prices are very different). Even within Amazon I’m getting varied price range from £290 - 340
Which 3rd party mats you guys recommend ? I’m looking for 1st 2nd rows and trunk.
I like the Tuxmats (cheaper and premium) but unfortunately out of stock!
I also like the famous 3d max but it’s a little on the expensive side but wouldn’t mind investing if it’s most recommended.
Thanks … so just to clarify when you ordered the vehicle, the ONLY business details you provided is the bank account details and everything else is your personal details ?
Thanks. How did you change the ownership - Did you do via the website or call Tesla customer care ? Any issues if you car was in the company name ?
Also I heard Churchill doesn’t provide insurance for business bought cars
To be honest, it will mostly be for personal use . I’m assuming that won’t change the situation anyways (as I don’t have that amount of cash in personal account) ? Yes, it does depend on luck but that’s something which is not in your hands so I tend to best not add it to the equation.
Yeah makes sense … to be honest that’s one of the reason I want to invest in the car as the money is just sitting in the business account doing absolutely nothing … obviously can pull that into personal account as it will be highly taxed
I’m planning to outright buy a Tesla MY through my business/limited company. I do not mean Hire purchase or contract hire. I mean pay the full amount and outright buy it (ofcourse assume I have comfortably enough amount)
- So wanted to know if this is a good idea ?
- Has anyone here bought one...
Attached a rough sketch of my house plan with the Consumer Unit and charger location. It has go from the CU which is on the ground floor to the detached garage.
I already have a connection going from the CU to the garage but that is a 3 x 2.5 (3 copper cores of 2.5mm diameter) connection and...
Mine is leased car so it will not be in my name or my limited co name, the RK would be the leasing company (ALD in my case)
I’m getting weird quote differences. If I go through compare the market, it shows Admiral is 800 but if I go directly on Admirals website with exact same details and it...
Are you financing/buying your Tesla? because afaik if your leasing, the registered keeper will be the leasing company (not you or limited company). You can’t add your name
I have similar problem now . Churchill has declined my quote. So who did you end up with ? Also what’s the right way to register the car - on your name or company’s name ?
I was surprised to find out that Churchill doesn’t provide insurance if you’ve leased (or bought) your car via your limited company.
Any suggestions on the best insurance providers for Teslas that are leased via limited company ?
Also what’s the right way to register the car - on your name or...
Firstly the car will have to be unlocked for this and more importantly like I mentioned it’s for when you want to release the cable after charging. Usually you have to do this from the inside or use your app which is inconvenient
I thought you would pair your with the 3rd party button which is...
Product link: https://amzn.eu/d/5yChow4
I saw this product online (available on Amazon and eBay). It’s basically used to open the charging flap and used on a non-Tesla charging cable to open the flap. Has anybody used this or a very similar device ?
I also wanted to check - does this remote...
To power by Tesla & as a future investment, Im planning to get solar installed on my roof.
I wanted to know if any of you guys here has heard or had experience with the company Project Solar UK ? If so, could you please share them
Yeah I saw this page too but was not sure if it was updated with latest information on their website.
Not all companies do (even the good ones). I know that being a developer
