One thing that helped me cope with the wait was just setting expectation to receive the car at the very end the updated edd. So for me oct….anything before that was simply a bonus. Also went on a month long holiday and rented a tesla too lol

organise your insurance when you get the final SMS to schedule your delivery. you can still get quotes but lock in the policy once you know when exactly you're going to pick up the car.

welcome i joined this thread not too long ago as well. a lot to get through but i did find the spreadsheet that's floating around this thread with folks putting in their OD EDD timings to be super helpful to gauge where you're at in terms of the long wait for the series of SMS'.

thanks for that really appreciate it. I've booked tinting with sam's tinting in airport west, they were recommended via Tesla Victoria FB group. $350 for all side and rear window if you mention you're part of the fb group. i've got the same quote from affinesse re PPF but still waiting to hear...

i'm near brunswick would you happen to know the cost for PPF for just the front part of car and ceramic coating the whole car? i would call them but they closed at 4pm.

I definitely see your perspective. Probably safe to say that your estimated delivery date was weeks then blown out to nearly 9 months. I was about to order in December and January seeing the wait times getting longer and longer but finally put the order in mid feb. Luckily i set my expections...

My commute is from northern suburbs to scoresby so love the insight around Ferntree gully. I take multiple different routes depending on traffic to get there every morning but almost always take the m1 on the way home. You’ve ordered exactly a month after me. If everything goes to planned you might get yours a month after i get mine. But once you get a edd range ie 17-31 aug, Thats when you’ll get super excited, vin may get to you early next month

In vic i’ve seen a few people get the sms either day before or on day 1 of their EDD, for a pick up 2-3 business days later. Getting close for many this week!
