I had the same problem. The hubcaps have these little plastic fins every few inches that seem to be what makes that crunch/clicking noise. I clipped them all off and have never heard anything since
So it doesn't actually mean that the tire has little/no tread. What it's trying saying is the tread between the front and back tires has a (I think) 3mm difference and needs rotating
Try driving in the middle lane of a 5 lane highway for a mile or so. If you are doing city driving, it could require as much 100 miles before its done.
A steering wheel reboot never hurts either
Set your updates to standard, if you havnt already, and make sure you are in the beta queue.
Once you have done that, try soft resetting the car and it should "understand" what you are trying to do, and if you're eligible to actually get FSD it will wait and only offer an update once one is ready
What does the car say?
Is it connected to wifi?
If the car is also at 20% try holding both steering wheel buttons until the system reboots
If that doesn't work call support. It happened to me once and they were able to reset the old download and get a new one going before the end of the call
The manual states that the doors unlock when you press a door handle.
Does it do this every time you approach or just that one occasion?
Try cleaning the door handles, could be a sensor issue registering touches that aren't there but if the car's security is not acting as expected, Id take it...
Again, thats not how that works. The car won't react until you actually touch the handle.
The lights may turn on if you trip the sentry, but its not unlocking
I looked at both of those before posting. Neither is the same topic as I am describing.
Innone of those cases the car doesn't slow down at all, and the other talks about the car going slow through the intersection. My situation is about the way the car slows down before it enters the intersection.
Please let me know if this is only my car or just standard behaviour.
This is referring to situations when the car is NOT "creeping forward for visibility"
Whenever the car approaches a stop sign, it will always very abruptly slow down about a car length or so from the stopsign

In traffic, that was always somthing i used to just click on autopilot for and let the car manage my distances. It was the turns that really got me, creeping around corners too scared there would be too much g-force around a bend
Can i finally drive my car as i wish?
For so long iv been scared to use my brake, anxious during rush hour that a car will jump out and I'd get dinged for following too close. But now the safety score is gone.
Does my driving not matter anymore? As long as I don't ignore the beeps and keep my...
Yes that is your best strategy. I waited for fsd to get to 36.20 before upgrading whatever i had before to 36.6 a few days ago, and then got 36.20 today
They dont show their own FSD numbers, my car only said it was an upgrade to 2022.36.20 and then only after ot was installed, showed my current...
Its in the app under "schedule"
Scheduled charging is different from precondition though.
Precondition just sets the climate and warms the battery so the car is ready to go when you usually leave in the morning
Not sure if the phone can do this by default so you may need to find an app or VPN that allows you to block certain websites, and then block the url for software updates.
Im not sure what the url is, it may be easier to block every website except Spotify, netflix... Etc
Have you left your phone in the kitchen and tested if its actually unlocked?
As someone else said, the car shouldn't react, and lights should not be blinking, until the handle is touched.
Not yet
2022.36.15 has been announced and includes fsd beta 10.69.3 and it should roll out to the majority of the beta fleet any day now. But until then, you have the newest software available for FSD
If you've updated your software in the last month or two, there's a setting under "pedals and steering" for when regen braking is not availableto simulate it and apply the regular brakes instead
Your software was already higher than the 2022.20.18 that FSD was attached to so you can't be downgraded to it. You had to wait until now when FSD is at 2022.36.15 and hopefully you get it this week
Maybe this. How is the cell signal where the car is parked? If there's no reception you would need to get internet to the car for it to connect to the servers
Iv seen many posts about people asking about how Tesla picks who gets in and who doesn't, so I thought I'd try and clear up one point that i keep seeing brought up.
A big factor for people who say they have high scores and have alot of autopilot miles seems to be their software version.
FSD...
This. As you approach an intersection, a red or green line will appear at the edge of the intersection.
When thenline is green (I believe) you should drive through without issue.
When its red, either pull down the gear stalk, or press the accelerator a bit, and the line will turn from red to...
