    Charge port door sensor fault

    @KalJoMoS Thank you for sharing this info. I replaced my chargeport door this afternoon in a little over an hour. Works like new again. It was a $90 USD part that Tesla had in stock locally. My drain tube was clogged and the the electronics for the door were soaked. :rolleyes:

    Winter tire recommendations

    They have been excellent this ski season for me. I have no problem over snowy passes where others lose traction. They have also been great on dry pavement for more spirited driving. The best winter tire you can get for a performance Tesla IMO.

    2022 Model S Winter Tire Question

    I've also been running the Vredestein Wintrac Pros this winter and love them so far. They are great on the snow and quiet on dry pavement. Being a performance winter tire, they handle so much better than the Michelin Xi3 I've run in years past. Excellent price, too.

    Never hurts to err on the side of caution. I saw 230 miles from Poncha to Mesa Verde, which in my opinion would be very achievable on mountain highways and a 250 mile charge. Destination charger required, of course.
