The only one i have is octopus card. Never used it. Supercharger or dont bother is my mantra. With my location in NW and range of car I havent had to deviate so far.

I am struggling to charge the car from my solar / battery setup. Before IO i could merely start charge select eco+ and dump excess / force home battery to charge car... since IO the charger doesnt respond to my (app) command... assume this is because Octopus fundamentally override it...

Is this even still an issue post Xmas holiday rush? i had no issue supercharging last week and dont expect one tomorrow either. I tend to go NW to SE so maybe im not seeing the worst of it... Rarely go to Scotland and Tebay would be too close to home..

I run LuxPower inverter and 4 x Greenlinx 3.2KWH - with 6.5kw of solar on roof. The greenlinx are 100-0% useable. Summer - will run pretty much all off solar (with excess going in the car via Zappi) Winter - Top off house batts and car during the 6hr window. I plan to add a 5th batt...

Am i doing something wrong - car keeps starting charging when its plugged in - but doesnt seem to stop ( as Octopus imply) quickly... was mildly annoyed to put 3-4kwh of peak power in to it yesterday ( IO + Zappi + MYLR) no schedules in car or Zappi .

Im on lease and mine are added. I was told by Octopus yesterday they were like being done in batches by telsa and could take till mid month - but mine were there this morning. No email. No app noification nothing... :)

My mortgage term is the same as the expected lifetime of the batteries. Appreciate this doesnt work for everyone, but given saving a 100quid a month of the elec bill may be as little as 200kwh come April I am pretty confident in my maths... :) This is broadly what i aimed to do... and...

Or bite the bullet and fit battery storage for home ( and Solar for thw whole hog apprach) then charge those batts at 10p too... Yes its big upfront cost but the potential for "everything at 10p in nov/dec/jan/feb and pretty much free for rest of year will start to offset it pretty...

The biggest anti theft bit of a Telsa is one software push from them and the car is bricked. You cant use it / charge it / sell it on after this.

It seems to be pot luck and minor bug fixes.

Having just come from Audi Q8 with matrix - they are great lights but only certain RS/Etrons do the full light show. From what I can see of the Tesla lights on mine I think they are not far off what the Q8 ones could do in terms of real world opposed to party tricks

It’s all on your personal circumstances- I have a reasonable solar + battery setup so for me I would be hammering it until march when the solar will be meaningfully charging car as well as powering home.

As he is on hols till new year - your objections will go unnoticed…. 😋
