Nope. Went wider and more expensive. Got the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/40-R20 summer tires. The car looks great with slightly wider profile tires. Also, the rubber is so sticky (read: grippy) that it literally is picking up and throwing the road debris at the wheel wells.

I did. I thought I would just keep one pair all around and sell the winter tires. Tirerack called and left a message a in the morning asking to confirm the size. My main question is - do I go with the wider 275/40-R20 tire size or go with the taller but standard width 255/45-R20.

Discount Tire doesn’t have this brand in stock but I ended up finding them on Tire rack albeit for a size up at 275/40-R20 Vredestein Quatrac Pro (although I would have preferred the 265 width). Anyone know what could be average loss of range going for this bigger profile (possibly heavier)...

How about 265/45-R20 on the 20” inductions ? Or 275/45-R20?

These are very hard to find these days.

Bought on a whim and seem like overkill for Chicago suburbs for winter. Could manage with my regular all seasons and wheels as I don’t have to drive in inclement weather in MY. Have a couple other ICE cars for that. Don’t want to bother with the storage of an extra set in an already cramped garage.
