    Brake rotors: UP or MPP?

For some fast street driving in the Plaid, what rotors do you guys recommend: UP or MPP, and why? MPP uses standard size pads so big selection, known to be high quality stuff. UP has larger anulus pads but can only use their pads (makes a difference?) Also claim big weight savings (how much...

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

"Might" hold...only daydreaming at this point. This world wonder highland version has not failed to disappoint until now, not expecting anything more than meh at this point.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Regarding the EU variant, I really doubt 460hp with the improved rear engine is faster than my 530hp Panasonic M3P (which is proven way faster than the LG one although quoted same hp)

Retrofit new rear motor to the previous Model 3 Performance

Hey guys, Do you think retrofitting the new rear motor in the M3P Highland to the previous Model 3 Performance will be something possible to do in the future? Since they have the same battery...

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I live in Europe and as a matter of principle I will never buy this car as long as it being sold with way less hp for the same price as in the States. Like, what are we, the town's idiots? I don't want the trash version of the car, no thanks.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

What a sad joke... 200 hundred pages with daydreaming, for a slow turd with no USS, no stalks. I told you guys this thing is gonna be a huge disappointment. But no, "2.5, 10.5" 🤣

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Man all this free speculation is so tiresome. Wouldn't it spare everyone alot of time if we all just Shut Up and wait for the actual reveal and reviews? "I think it.s gonna be 2.6...no..2.9...no...2.7..". It's like kindergarden in here.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I also have this "unicorn" M3P but I live in Europe so we will be getting the lousy LG. If this Highland doesn't have 100hp over the current one, hell no for me. I already have a feeling it is going to be a dissapointment. Lose the USS, the stalks, the Panasonic, pay another 10k...for what...

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

These "legacy" automakers man... LOOK WE IMPROVED OUR CAR, IT'S ALMOST AS FAST AS THE PLAID, YOU CAN HAVE IT FOR 250k. I mean, if you got too much money and you don`t have any use for it, sure, you can pay 150k over the Plaid to have nicer interior materials, if it's that important.

    M3P Doesn't Launch

This happens to me as well. But not when flooring it, to have traction issues. Sometimes when I press the "gas", for something like half a second it won`t accelerate, like a hiccup, then it starts going, instead of the usual instant go...is it an issue? Tesla service is 300 miles away.

    Tesla Track Package - weight

Hey there, Anyone buying the ceramic brakes for the Plaid, care to weigh in the stock system and the ceramic one (rotors, calipers), so we can see the weight savings? Thanks!

Is it normal for the p100d to drop power after initial launch?

Fact: pre-facelift cars are just bad :) get a new Model S LR if you want good cooling and sustained performance.

Best Plaid brake upgrade? Alcon front / rear

Hey guys, In my last post I showed you a braking kit from Rotora front + rear (I really like kits upgrading the rear caliper, I have a fixation with upgrading the rear caliper cuz 1 piston slider calipers are gayyy, just my personal opinion, f.off :D), and some people discarded it hard because...

Rotora braking system for Plaid / LR

They don`t have it posted on their website, it`s very lacking at the moment. I want to upgrade the brakes because one full stop from 150mph and you`re pretty much out of brakes with the stock ones; at this price it`s very resonable for what you get. Only way to buy these is to contact Rotora by...

    Deformed panoramic glass?

I bought the car second hand with 10000 miles from someone, 2022 model. So, if I go to the Service and say "I get alot of wind noise because of this huge misalignment over here", they won`t do anything about it?

    Deformed panoramic glass?

Yesterday when I finished washing my car I noticed a very disturbing detail: the glass roof on the driver side seems to be "sagged", deformed, way lower. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is it a problem or how Tesla would call it..."in spec"?

M3P high speed performance [doesnt pull much after 70 mph?]

Hey, I had a 2019 RS5, stage 2, 570HP, pulled like a mofo till 150mph. Jumped on the M3P wagon, love the tech, the instant throttle response, the not paying 200 dollars for gas each week. But after 70mph it feels like it falls on it`s face. Can barely pass a 3000 diesel flooring it. Is it just...

    Plaid: retrofit rear brake caliper

Ceramic brakes are nice when they are properly sized (Tesla ones seem to be, UP seem not), and even then only for street driving. Some spirited driving and they retain so much heat in them that they can literally melt everything around them, compared to iron brakes which at a certain temp fade...

Model 3 Performance UP Mild springs

I had the KV V3s on my 2019 RS5, the car handled like it was on rails, just incredible, did not seem too stiff for my taste, just glued to the tarmac. The thing is that the stock suspension is a little boat like, and somehwhat stiff, but compared to the RS5 with the KW`s, I really don`t get why...

Model 3 Performance UP Mild springs

UP says the Mild springs are way softer than the stock ones, so technically it should solve the rebound control problem of the stock dampers, and a 0.7 inch drop is exactly what I am looking for (will cut the stops in half to get more travel). I ordered the KW V3`s but now I am thinking that...

    Plaid: retrofit rear brake caliper

Hello, Has anyone tried / considered retrofitting the rear 2 piston calipers with the separate parking brake from the older Model S to the Plaid? Might be an inexpensive upgrade if it works (I like Teslas but f their "remove everything we can" to make more money; 30k profit per car isn't...

Model 3 Performance aftermarket brake pads
