Plaid works day of and is instant. I did it day off 5 mins before pickup.

I have a 2023 Austin Built Y. While the suspension isnt silky smooth and quiet like a Mercedes and it's completely fine. Yes you feel all the road imperfections but it's by no means uncomfortable or harsh. Just not silky smooth

I'm sure Tesla sort of ignores or turns a blind eye. They may not flat out lie because perhaps a very small percentage of folks might get it in the timeframe but the majority won't.

I almost switched to the performance for the faster delivery time but so happy I stuck with the long range. Already had two occasions I was down in the 10-15 percent range. On the performance it probably would have been 5 percent already.

Well by saying expected doesn't mean Tesla isn't lying. They can still publish "expected" dates that they know aren't true. I'm sure the marketing department is just turning a blind eye.

I read a Tesla SA can transfer the $250 after the fact. It's best to just grab the one in inventory and worry about the 250 later.

Seems like 1/25 OD are seeing EDDs right around the end of March. Hopefully there are no delays.

The generic EDD is meaningless. Wait till you actually get a date. I know most folks who ordered a performance late Jan to Early Feb (2/3) were getting EDD's of around 3/15-3/31.

Well the performance still shows Feb-March if you order today on Teslas order page so not sure what your SA was talking about. Most SA's say they still try to prioritize based off order date even if you change. I imagine folks seeing performance delays might be because of all the LR folks...

ahh totally missed that.. Im thinking of changing to MYP as it seems like the MYLR are getting delayed. Hopefully mine stays at the narrow window of 3/28-3/31

Fremont has matrix headlights and Austin doesn't so it's not all bad

Yeah Tesla's official stance is they do not transfer reservations. It's it the fine print when we put down our deposit.

Yeah I think the white interior pushed us back to the end of March since only fremont produces the white interior. Seems like other folks are getting builds from Austin in early to mid March in So Cal.

I was following the myp thread and it looks like someone who ordered mid to late Jan like me in So Cal has almost the same EDD in late March for MYP or MYLR so I stayed put for now

I was crossing my fingers and hoping to see my date move up. Haha

Yeah that's what my SA told me. They try to prioritize by order date. I guess that means if everyone is switching over to MYP a lot of folks that ordered recently might see their date move back.

Yeah it's weird how my EDD is a smaller range but not sure what that means if anything. I'm almost tempted to change to a MYP and see how that impacts delivery :P

Yup i don't think you save too much on gas if you live in Texas. Especially if you go on a road trip and use the super charger network

I've done that. It was a few days later as I didn't know. But a sales advisor told me the system prioritizes based off order date first. Not sure what's going on. Have a feeling I won't get my car before March.
