I've enagaged lawyers in an attempt to recover FSD cost (Australian owner)

I've been informed that an order/judgement for this case does exist and contains 2 pages (which is much shorter than the usual published decisions on NCAT website). General public access is by application only and subject to application fee ($52) and approval -...

I've enagaged lawyers in an attempt to recover FSD cost (Australian owner)

Amazingly Tesla has two cases to respond to all in one day. Best of luck OP. Shame I'm busy all day with work otherwise would love to be there for moral support.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

For me it was a couple of updates earlier but not 20.1. But in any case, it still locks sometimes when I'm around my car for an extended period of time putting stuff in the fronk etc. windows xp shutting down here (which actually didn't attract as much attention as I thought probably because I...

    Wiper streaking/smearing on windshield

Noticed my wiper smearing /streaking on the driver side windshield today in Sydney rain, visibility degraded because of it. It didn't came on as soon as I drove out of the garage but appeared soon ish afterwards. Anyone knows how to get rid of it?

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

I wonder, how much the calibration can drift if I don't charge my lfp to 100% for a long, long time (like say 6 months). Will it cut me off at 10%🤣🤣

    ChargeFox EV charging Network

Very frustrating. So what seems to be the issue here, cloud storage, or internet/telecommunications? I thought all the chargers just lost internet for a few days or something

    Superchargers in Australia

One would argue that the more congested city sites (eg Broadway and Macquarie Park) would also benefit quite a bit from an upgrade to V3/V4

    Supercharger - Raymond Terrace, NSW

I recall last time I charged at BP pulse I had the audacity to grab the bucket and squeegee from next to the nearest bowser 🤣🤣

Kerbside pole-mounted chargers are now a thing

Evx doesn't charge idle fee between 8pm and 8am. I think this is sensible

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Did anyone else notice a reduction in power consumption by sentry mode after 2024.14.3? Yesterday sentry was on for the 13 hours I parked at the train station and only 4% was consumed (60kwh battery). Today was 5% for 15 hours. I recall it used to be about 1.5-2 times this consumption.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Teslas should have been insurance favourite customers, sentry mode, autopilot, adaptive high beam etc all either reduce the chance of accidents or increase the possibility of at fault party being identified

The stopping distance doesn't bother me that much now that I'm used to it. It's actually safer too.

I just got the .3 update today.

    Superchargers in Australia

Did they actually get rid of the Australian supercharger team as well (or just US)? I would have thought that it's not easy to just "let go" employees in Australia under the Fair Work Act etc.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Anyone could test the new sentry footage function? Are you able to preview on the app all sentry clips as they are saved, or only those severe enough that the car alarm is triggered?

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Am I correct to understand that if the car were to check for updates itself it is not limited to once every 24 hours (as opposed to if you check it manually)? Does the car need to be connected to wifi for it to check for updates automatically?

    ChargeFox EV charging Network

I think this is a good thing - means people use the chargers for convenience while they shop at Ikea (as opposed to going there specifically to free load on charging). Although this will make the wall outlets more attractive as a free alternative :)

    ChargeFox EV charging Network

I think in certain cases it's unreasonable to expect people to move the car shortly after it's fully charged. If you leave your car plugged in at park and ride parking or city parking garages and go to work, for example.

Kerbside pole-mounted chargers are now a thing

Tried to use this exact charger in the picture provided (brown St Newtown) last Tuesday night for the comedy festival, the other spot were getting iced left right and centre by different vehicles while I was parking there (one with local parking permit). No regard for the sign.

Tesla owner who falsely claimed car was in autopilot before Melbourne crash pleads guilty

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-04-23/tesla-autopilot-crash-sakshi-agrawal-pleads-guilty/103759746 Don't lie about your tesla I suppose is the lesson - but does Tesla collects and stores the sort of data presented to court in their servers (which presumably they had to hand over under...

    Model 3 roof glass crack

Do glass coverage (which I assume means the no excess windscreen option) actually cover glass roof? The two insurance policies I have had on my tesla (budget direct/auspost) both don't cover the roof. Below is the policy wording from auspost(QBE) and non-retractable panoramic roof is...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Noticed two things after installing the update (but not sure if directly related): 1. LED variable speed limit can now be recognised (60 and 40 roadwork limits on the harbour bridge today) 2. The take off after light turns green when using autopilot is quicker with much shorter distance...
