So... where are people seeing the speed cameras in the maps? And do they come with a warning?
You can see it in action here-So... where are people seeing the speed cameras in the maps? And do they come with a warning?
Were you using navigation when approaching the speed camera? So I was still on 2024.2.7 until yesterday, this morning got 2024.8.7 and first impression so far is, there is no adaptive headlights on my 2023 Model 3 as of yet, the wipers are almost fine, just a little laggy and slow still. The speed camera on M1 before Exit 75 (Gold Coast) does not show on car map, even though it is 90% of the year there, so no idea which speed cameras it will show and which not.
As it has only been 1 drive to work with it is a bit early to say if this is a good update or not.
Yes, Well Navigation comes on automatically in the morning when I get in the car with destination already set to work. Were you using navigation when approaching the speed camera?
Do we know this for a fact?Tesla is centralised on the US mother ship most likely.
8.7 downloading now dammit...I haven't been offered 2024.8.x yet.
Still on 2024.2.7.
I'm pretty sure that's because I've been quarantined so I can receive 2024.3.x FSD V12 very soon.
My statement regarding Tesla was purely conjecture.Do we know this for a fact?
I can’t see how this could sensibly mange the load given the volume and distributed geo nature of “devices”. I would expect (hope!) they use some form of global CDN like Akamai.
Why wouldnt the speed camera be there 100% of the time? Its only Fixed cameras.. Do you have premium Connectivity? The speed camera on M1 before Exit 75 (Gold Coast) does not show on car map, even though it is 90% of the year there, so no idea which speed cameras it will show and which not.
Yes, according to NATASo the speed cameras will only show if you have premium connectivity?

As there’s no option to see it all the time, it won’t be this. You can only pay (via premium connectivity) to show them on your navigation route, not all the time (and I drive 90% of the time not using nav). The warnings are easily missed too so it’s not great anyway.Monetization of features other than basic
I hear you. It helps a little to be able to drag the camera window to another part of the screen, allowing access to whatever controls it was covering. And maybe the ability to turn the blind spot camera off when the car is stationary.
I get it while changing lanes but when you are sitting at the lights it gets in the way of either audio controls, the forward visualisation of traffic, or navigation.
Not sure why it’s needed when stationary?
Yeah a littleI hear you. It helps a little to be able to drag the camera window to another part of the screen, allowing access to whatever controls it was covering.
