The Adaptive headlights are only for Europe as far as i can tell.

Are you sure? It's working on Highland Model 3's, but I haven't noticed anyone saying it's working on any other vehicles in AUS.

I’ll find out shortly. As for those waiting, Tesla software updates seem to come when they come and you should not necessarily feel responsible for when they come. As an axiom I find it broadly applicable.

2024.8.7 on its way.
Weirdly I had to hot spot it to my work phone (Google pixel pro) on a different APN and it alerted me straight away.

EXCEPT… others on this thread in AUS have stated they have adaptive working on their MY.

Only M3H has adaptive in AU currently.

8.7 has the following for us:

• One time charge limit
• Security improvements
• Speed cameras on route
• Minor fixes including:
  • Updates to fold mirrors button functionality
  • Windshield washer changes
  • Turn signal icon change
  • Connectivity icon always visible
  • New WiFi & bluetooth menu

I'm pretty sure that's because I've been quarantined so I can receive 2024.3.x FSD V12 very soon.

I can’t see any in Adelaide zooming around the map while the car is in the shed.

Just did some testing and yep, looks like they are only shown on a set route and in your direction of travel.
So you prob won’t see them if driving around randomly without a route set.

I wonder why they chose to do it that way rather than just have them on the map all the time.
