I couldn't honestly tell you, since I put all my buttons in locations where you can't normally see them: the back side of the steering wheel, the back side of the display, and under the lip of the center console armrest. (Trying to keep to the "minimalist" aesthetic.)

You can try the DIY route. There are plenty of YT videos detailing the process. I did it myself in a little under 2 hours. I highly recommend it - one of the best upgrades I've done so far.

Last Wednesday, I also swapped to a MYLR Blue/White/19 from one of the 4680s from Austin, which already had a VIN and an EDD of 2/26-3/23, then on Sunday night got the "It's time to schedule your delivery" text. Considering how close you are to the factory, I'd say expect a similar text very soon.

If it's one of the MYAWD with 269 mile range, it's one of the new 4680 battery models coming out of Austin, and is probably in pre-production. You should get a new EDD within a few days.

Just because Tesla doesn't tell you your VIN until production is completed doesn't mean they didn't build it specifically to your order from the outset. I can see the sense in this, because a vehicle might get rejected at some point during production and they don't want to keep shuffling VINs...

Let's clear this misconception up once and for all: VINs are not "assigned" after the car is built; that's just when Tesla divulges them to the purchaser. A VIN is assigned to a vehicle the moment it starts being built. It is stamped into multiple locations of the frame and body so that law...

Just to be clear, Hold, Roll and Creep are all  stopping modes, not regen modes. By the time the car has come to a stop, regeneration is done. You have the choice of two regen modes: Standard (i.e., full) and Chill (less than full). (If you get S3XY Buttons, you can chose from 5 modes.)

Considering how far your MY has to be transported, it'll likely be rolling off the line any day now. Mine was built on 2/14 and isn't expected to arrive at the SC in Ohio until 2/27. Yours will probably be en route for close to three weeks - plenty of time to fret over when you'll get a firm...

I think that since you're in Austin, it's perfectly understandable if that's where your car is being built. The further you are from the factory, the longer the lead time. My car was built on 2/14 and is expected to arrive at the SC on 2/27, and I still don't have a delivery date.

I did the same thing on 2/15 (Blue/White/19/5 PF689***). My EDD is showing 2/26 - 3/23, but the SA in Cleveland who swapped my order said it's expected on 2/27 with delivery available within a few days after that. Maybe I'll see you there!
