Pretty similar experience for sure! Yeah that's a tough one, I'm lucky the delivery location is a 20 minute drive from my house. I would probably say the one way car rental is probably your best bet unless you can find a ride from family or friends. Good luck to you!

As much as I am relieved to get the full tax credit, I still want the car ASAP. However, now that they dropped the prices back to late Jan levels you can get a car in inventory assigned to your account at the same price when we ordered.

At this point its all but confirmed IMO. Ive seen orders from February and even March get filled. Also, I think it has to do with your location. Giga Austin is the closest factory to the East coast so they will be waiting the longest for transport.

Yes a little information goes a long way, being completely in the dark is frustrating to say the least. I've heard they are going to work on the EDD algo but Tesla says something and then delivers way down the line lol

Yes it is normal and very unreliable. Did you happen to order a Performance? Those are getting VIN assignments faster than the LR and may be more accurate to your EDD.

Yes I had a very similar experience. Mine started back in February, then widened, and then shrunk down to the 5 day window with nothing.

Like I said, I have seen this window before. Tesla has conditioned me to not get hopeful about anything until I see a VIN in the app. 😆

Can confirm, I am in Austin. No VIN yet OD 1/22 and people with February orders have been getting VINs and deliveries. 🤷‍♂️

EDD only pushed to 3/27-3/31 from 3/26-3/31. Still no VIN. I'm expecting another push back, not sure what's going on with the Texas orders. Also almost one month past the date I received a text from Tesla to expect a VIN in 1-2 weeks lol

Well, I received the expect a VIN in 1-2 weeks on 2/28 and haven't heard anything else from that yet. Just checked and my delivery window updated again to 3/23-3/31. No VIN.

EDD updated to 3/5-3/19. I am almost positive they are prioritizing delivery to folks who live further from factories. I live in Austin and have had my EDD pushed back since 2/10 lol. Still holding on to the 52,990 MSRP, ill be patient.
