Im in Victoria, I assume for the Vehicle Registration document I am supposed to sign and send it back to Tesla but how do I send it back? Cant see anywhere on the website.

Final invoice arrived, build date of 03/04/23. EDD has stayed the same, May 12-26

got my VIN and car is in RAV with a build "date" of 04/23. No idea which ship its on.

Haha i feel certain that I'll have to do very similar, at least Vic roads allow 3 month rego now. Would have been ultimate pain years ago

I have no VIN with an EDD of 8 days away, is that because my Prepare for Delivery page has an outstanding item (Payment Method not filled out for novated lease)?

Woohoo EDD just updated from Feb-May to May 12-26. My goodness i hope that's somewhat accurate, ice car rego is due in June

Manage order seemed to be out of order for 5-10 minutes, back up now.

Yeah unfortunately I checked in that magical window and had no updates and there is still no rego form on my account pages.

Spoke to who exactly? I doubt the sales rep would have that level of detail. I didn't receive a VIN/updated EDD yesterday.

Surely they can move the boat whilst carrying on their investigation?

I find the entire ordering process of Tesla very weird. Actually thats not entirely true, the initial order page, selecting your car options and paying a deposit was smooth.

Wouldnt Tesla have to advise Australians of the change? When we ordered the car it came with USS so expectation is that it comes with it.

Yep really happy to see some movement in VIC too especially given our port chaos so far this year.

One of the reasons i bought a Tesla is because i don't trust any level of government to address the gaps in the charger network but it indeed would be great if they did

I think when you tell someone you are calling BS on them you lose the ability to say you are being respectful.

Given the shipping schedules I'd say its most likely that the Tesla's being delivered in Victoria are coming down via truck/train from NSW.

So sounds like its now 100% that we wont get charging equipment with our Model Ys. Any recommendations for buying some? Does it have to be via Tesla?

Yeah looks like PK is getting skipped a bit too, not as much as Melbourne of course but not getting all ships.

Didnt realise the LR was so close to the LCT limit, assumed it would be over by a fair bit. Given inflation over the last few months you would have to assume it will go up. All adds to the drama of the Tesla waiting game.

Call it blind optimism (because it probably is) but I get the feeling we will see a lot of movement for Melbourne in the next week.

This is the main part for me, even if they are "short term" plans its still probably 2 years away from actually receiving the car in Australia.

Saw a post on the 3 & Y Australia facebook pages with someone saying they helped drive off hundreds of Telsa's from ships in Melbourne over the past few days so hopefully that helps clear up some of the backlog.

Being in Sydney I think you have a great chance. Tesla ships are just going to avoid Melbourne now.

Great news on the LR bring made available. Gives me slight hope for my Red RWD ordered in Jan making the Feb-May timeframe.
