Bergamot Ace has unloaded all 400ish Teslas in Melbourne and is leaving Australian waters for its next job. Don Juan has finished unloading in Brisbane and is en route to Port Kembla. Turandot is still at anchorage in Melbourne.

It is assumed so based on the type of vessel and departure location. How many roll on in Shanghai and roll off in Brisbane is another question. You can see from the schedule that there are multiple stops in Australian ports for all three of these vessels.

Nothing would be surprising with Australian ports at this point, but Turandot is probably not unloaded yet. If the M3LR is on Bergamot Ace, your appointment should be scheduled soon.

Melbourne Update: Turandot waiting in anchorage. Vehicles are most likely still on board. Bergamot Ace is making it's approach to Webb Dock carrying Teslas for 397 folks that have been saved thousands by the port delays.

It gets more interesting. Another vehicle carrier was rushed into Appleton dock ahead of the queue: Dover Highway. Turandot seems to have been towed to an Anchorage point in the bay. Perhaps some inspection has occured at Appleton dock but no unloading? It would be a long inspection.

Hmmm, curious. There hasn't been the flood of posts on this forum associated with Turandot. It was strange that this vessel was "rushed" into port ahead of others in waiting. I wonder what's going on here.

Turandot has now departed Appleton Dock in Melbourne en route for Port Kembla in Sydney. Fingers crossed for a speedy pass through any congestion.

According to ports Victoria, Turandot is scheduled to depart on Monday at 10am (local time), so cars will possibly be progressively show up on the RAV check between now and Monday.

Add to this the order in which the ships arrive at port can be different to the order that they depart Shanghai

I know what you mean. There are a never ending number of events that can delay the unloading of a RoRo vessel. I would expect the order of the schedule to be relatively consistent (assuming vessels are available to berth) even if the dates continually get extended.

Possibly. That wouldn't explain the Turandot vessel (currently in waters of the NSW coast) being scheduled ahead of the Bergamot Ace vessel which is ready to berth.

@ev-fanboy: VicPorts scheduling is really random and volatile isn't it? Other vehicle carriers seem to be sliding in ahead of Bergamot Ace for some unknown reason.

They have similar dimensions. Bergamot Ace 186/28m and Turandot 199/32m. Current schedule for Turandot holding at 27/Jun and Bergamot Ace currently scheduled afterwards on 28/Jun. Subject to change.

Interestingly the Turandot vessel is currently scheduled in for 27/Jun, but the Bergamot Ace vessel is still not back on the schedule. Even though Turandot is currently passing Grafton, NSW and Bergamot Ace has been sitting outside Port Phillip Bay since 17/Jun

VicPorts has updates their schedule to Comet Ace (without Teslas) instead of Bergamot Ace (containing Teslas) for 26/June. Turandot is currently coming alongside Hervey Bay. Berth dates for both Turandot and Bergamot Ace are unknown at this minute

Turandot is the most likely vessel for March orders being delivered to Melbourne. Based on comments from other users, vehicle assignment can happen after the vessel is already on its way. My guess is that updates are likely to be in the next one to ten days.

This sounds like the most likely ship. The time that the EDD was updated corresponds with the departure time and the date range corresponds with the arrival time.

Your candidate ship would be Turandot. The VIN is sometimes assigned before departure and sometimes after. Delivery is probably the week commencing July 10.
