There does seem to be a bunch of Chargenet chargers missing still. Just drove DUD->WEL and Murchison, Motueka and the iSite in Nelson were all missing. Definitely useful to have the rest on there but don’t forget to double check elsewhere for other chargers.

This missing feature seemed insane to me as a new owner correctly based in Dunedin. it would be good if it actually told you how much you needed to charge at these points - even if it didn't even show charging speed. Then you can actually plan a trip somewhere and know what levels you need to...

It's been running fine once I got some power to it. The biggest pain now is getting the clip inside the frunk to be perfectly aligned - the bonnet closes but is slightly higher on the right side. Installer error I guess. I modelled up a new cover for the positive terminal too Printables

I'm finding Tessie pretty good as it offers so many extra things the Tesla app should offer. Will give it a few mouths @ $NZ8 and see how I go for EOFY.

Bored and doing some more tests and I can confirm no ADB access via USB. It's a real shame as the hardware is sound - but the software is just janky as hell the second you want to do anything. The basics work.

Thinking the the fact my Model 3 is online, always knows where it is and when trips are having - I wonder if anyone is using something to do log book, er, logging? Tempted to buy Tessie so all my trips are logged by default - even if only to export a csv of all trips. Thoughts?

Follow up - made the AKL -> DUD trip in one big mission and the bike stayed on and the car only beeped too much reversing. Managed to slot into all the superchargers and other chargers with no major problem.

Just did the AKL -> DUD mission (second time). Biggest pain is easily the Wellington -> Chch part. In Picton the car says 'turn around and charge in Johnsonville' despite being on 96% and being on another island! It's almost embarrassing that the car can't even recommend a 3rd party to charge...

Update - found a rack that is happy on a 50mm European gooseneck @ EV Cycles, unfortunately it was $760 but I definitely preferable to bike heading off on its on on the motorway. Attached are some pics you all no doubt want to see. Sensors don't beep unless in reverse but you do get a nice gull...

Final(?) update - so the inline fuse cable was faulty. Satronic have gone completely silent in helping me so decided to go buy an inline fuse and chop up the supplied cable - and what do you know - it works! Still need to work on getting the bonnet closing flush but at least it actually opens...
