How to stop suspension from raising every time I come home?

Logically, if Always Auto-Raise is blue like in the first pic, pressing it would cause it to always raise at that location, not shut it off. The X in the second pic isn't blue.

How to stop suspension from raising every time I come home?

OK did that and now there is an X next to it. Don't I have to press that X to NOT auto-raise?

How to stop suspension from raising every time I come home?

I was at home and drove the car up on ramps and raised the suspension to it's highest level. Afterwards I lowered it to the standard level. Now every time I'm at home it raises to the highest level. How to stop that?

Any real leather on the interior of a 2013?

I use Meguiar's Hyper Dressing for plastic vinyl and rubber materials.

Any real leather on the interior of a 2013?

Starting to detail the inside and want to make sure to use the right cleaners and dressings. The seats, door panels, dash top, etc. Any leather there? Or just a manmade product?

Tesla parts ordering getting on my nerves.

Just submitted that for a cabin filter and they sent an estimate of $54.86 for mobile service even though the message said I would pick up at the Tesla dealer.

New MY order with cracked windscreen

Windshield installation quality depends greatly on the experience of the installer. A factory installed windshield is going to be put in by robot and the bead of urethane adhesive laid out with precision. If they have an experienced glass tech replace it, it should be 95% as good as factory. If...

Tesla parts ordering getting on my nerves.

HOW? I don't see any way to order parts on the app besides accessories.

Tesla parts ordering getting on my nerves.

I wouldn't wan't to wait a week for a part when I could go into any dealer and get them today, plus not have to pay a shipping charge. Maybe not a filter, but if I have something disassembled on the car so it can't be driven, I don't want to wait that. long.

Bought a lovely 2015 MS, but now panoramic stuck

Is that the first or second version of the roof? From the video posted in #9, if the first, you have to remove the panels along the sides of the roof for most repairs, and they are a one time use as they are glued in and destroyed on removal and no longer available.

Bought a lovely 2015 MS, but now panoramic stuck

I would just close it, pull the fuse, and never touch it again. You're playing a risky game there and eventually you will try and close it before a pouring rainstorm, break something and soak the interior.

    2013 battery healing itself?

I'm just excited to see it charging more than it has ever before. Might check out the nearest SC as the car has it free and unlimited.

    2013 battery healing itself?

This is on my 199,000 mile car I got a month ago with the 018 BMS code It wouldn't charge to more than 25 to 30 miles range and had a red charge port when charging finished. About a week ago, it would sometimes charge to 32 miles and afterwards the charge port has always been green when...

Tesla parts ordering getting on my nerves.

It was really going to be a test, my first order to get a feel of things. I like to see oem labeled parts in my cars, and at $18 they are no more expensive than other brands, until you factor in the shipping, which if I could pick up, or at least order two at once, wouldn't seem too bad.

Tesla parts ordering getting on my nerves.

New to the Tesla brand and got two 2013 Model S's a month ago to flip. I don't understand this onerous parts purchasing system at all and why they have it like this. I signed up for a business account and everything has to be ordered online. Ok, no big deal. But then it has to be shipped to you...

Whats this valve under the frunk for?

Yes I assume that, but what for? The air suspension has an air pump. Is it used if the pump fails? How much psi do you add?
  20. A

Whats this valve under the frunk for?

With the black cap. Assuming it has something to do with air suspension.

Any way to turn off the radio?

But it reappears the next time you drive it.

That does nothing but turn off the sound. I still get the bottom of the screen filled with audio choices.

    Is "phone as key" reliable?

I bought a used fob on Ebay for $40 and Tesla service came out and programmed it for $20 plus $10 for a battery plus $40 because it was used. So $110 total for a second fob.

Any way to turn off the radio?

Ok I'll see what that does.
  27. A

Any way to turn off the radio?

2013 S. Every time I get in the car the radio display takes up half the screen. Is there any way to turn it off? I don't see an on/off button.

What's this pump and why is it always running?

Not worth fixing on $5-6,000 car.
  29. A

What's this pump and why is it always running?

60kW bms 018 code so stops charging after reaching 30 miles range.
  30. A

What's this pump and why is it always running?

2013 with a bad battery. And get a message saying charge door is open even when it's closed.
  31. A

What's this pump and why is it always running?

Left front under the car with coolant hoses attached. Running all the time even when not plugged in. Range went from 25 to 15 miles from just sitting all day. I'm more concerned its wearing itself out. What is it for?

Driver's seat stuck at rearmost position... Tesla SC wants $2,650 parts + $539 labor to replace entire seat base

Can't imagine you can't either, 1) find a used seat base for a few hundred bucks 2) find a used seat motor for a hundred bucks 3) remove the seat, disconnect the seat motor and move the seat to the proper position and reinstall 4) something under the seat isn't stuck preventing it from moving...

Are third row seats really being sold for that much?

I'm looking on Ebay and see they have sold for $1300 to $1900, https://www.ebay.com/itm/404936702126 https://www.ebay.com/itm/334914689952 Are people really paying that much? I'm thinking of selling them out of the car I just bought with the bad battery to recoup some money.

New to me 2013 with flashing orange charge port

I got the car home today and used the charging cable from my other Tesla. Charged normal with the flashing green light, but....can only charge to 29 miles range. Has the BMS_U018 code so I assume the battery is bad, but short of replacement, is there anything to improve range even a little...

Thoughts about selling a clean title car with battery issues at a salvage auction?

Could I transfer it to my good car? Is there a dollar value for this feature?

Thoughts about selling a clean title car with battery issues at a salvage auction?

SOME good news after getting the car added to my account, it has free supercharging. How much value does that add to a 199,000 mile car with a battery issue? And is there anyway it would discontinued by the previous owner? I understand it could be transferred to another Tesla he buys.

Can I use my phone to open the door?

So why did I have a problem with internet in order to add my other car with the battery problem, until I used my phone's hotspot? It was in an area of great internet coverage and also free wifi. I was getting the message, connecting.... but it never did.
  38. A

Can I use my phone to open the door?

Does the car use my phone's hotspot? Or does Tesla provide free internet?
  39. A

Can I use my phone to open the door?

So you CAN start and drive the car with the phone as long as there is internet service? Does the car need to be continuously covered be internet to keep running, and it will it just not start again if you're out of range?
  40. A

Can I use my phone to open the door?

    Nope
  43. A

Can I use my phone to open the door?

By that, I mean, extend the handle and unlock the door so I can get in and drive without have the fob with me. On the app it lets me open the front and rear trunk, sunroof, flash the lights, open the charge door and even start it, but nothing on opening the door. On a 2013.

Thoughts about selling a clean title car with battery issues at a salvage auction?

The new to me 199,000 mile S60 that I bought at auction has a code BMS_U018. It does run and drive and is very clean. I haven't brought it home yet since I may have to tow it instead of drive it the 30 miles back, but thinking ahead if I just want to get rid of it. I see some pretty strong...
