Thanks for the info - was that from a service centre? The third party ones seem a bit ugly, with having to stick extra bits on the sides to work.

I believe there are - UK Model Y owners have all reported there is no ridge on the sides for the shelf to sit on, unfortunately. So my guess is these parts would require replacing (although hard to tell from the parts catalogue if these are the right bits!) 1494608-00-G 1494609-00-G

Unfortunately the service centres in UK just say there is no plans to have a parcel shelf. I was just thinking if it was possible to get one from a HK service centre and ship it over to UK (but would have to include the side bits with the plastic coming out to hold the shelf).

Did they give the part numbers for the retrofit? I have a UK Model Y on order and would be prepared to ship the prt from HK is it’s available (ie including the side bits)

Anyone been successful getting a Yorkshire number plate (beginning with Y?). Leeds aren’t doing deliveries so have to go to Manchester for collection, but would hope to somehow get a Yorkshire plate!

I pickup from Leeds tomorrow at 15:30. Drove past today and they have alot of model 3s out the back waiting to be picked up (I counted 25). Hopefully not too busy tomorrow though! Does anyone have a decent checklist to use? Doesn't have to be exhaustive but enough to find any issues that...

Hello What did people pay for the reservation of their model 3 in the UK? My card actually took out 718 pounds, which I guess converts to the 1000USD charge. It also charged me a conversion fee. Just wondering what other people's experiences were.

So I did the test drive - what can I say, it was a brilliant experience. No hard sell at any stage. I may do another test drive as Tesla have just opened a pop-up store near Bristol.

Hello everyone, I'm looking to test drive a Model S at West Drayton. Does anyone have any experience of this? They have given me a date and time. However I am unsure how the insurance situation works. Do I need to get temporary car insurance cover (i'm currently not on any policy)...Also I...
